Casa Hamacas is a beautiful house, We were a group of 9 - 8 adults and 1 9yr so there was plenty of rooms and space however let me warn you, one of the rooms is not a full size room, it is hidden back behind the laundry room, only has a bunk bed in it, has a small bathroom adjoined but is far remotely away from the rest of the rooms, all others are king beds and 2 of the rooms do NOT have closet space to hang more than 1 shirt and a pair of pants, no place to put suitcases except the floor, watch for ants. Beds are very firm, if you like them that way, I prefer a little softer.
The outdoor space is lovely with the large palapa and pool with hammacks HOWEVER... you must know this house backs up to the main road of the area so lots of traffic noise and currently alot of construction is going on. They are building a new house directly across the street from Casa Hamacas and they begin each day at 530a!!! Quiet hours do not apply to construction. We were awoken each day early at 6a on our vacation.
We had our son's wedding in the backyard the first Saturday and were fortunate the construction had ended by 5p, the vendors that Mariam suggested for us were excellent, we had private chef, cake and flowers. I hired a fabulous photographer, Genna with Tamarindo Family Photography to take the pictures, highly recommend. Mariam also arranged 2 trips for us as well. The house is beautiful and Yancee is a gem!! If you can get past noise it's worth it.
