Great Location

Across from Langosta beach (the best beach) and away from the commotion of Tamarindo, but close enough for multitudes of restaurant and other activities offered there. A good base for exploring the Guanacaste region.

It was a great stay!

The place was clean and was awesome for the few days we stayed there. The outdoor shower and bathroom was a new one for us but it was a good experience. The place was totally safe and the location was super close to the beach! Overall a great stay

Amazing beachfront condo

We had absolutely fantastic stay at this property. The house was extremely well kept and the property was maintained daily. Extremely spacious and modern throughout. Just steps from the beautiful beach and all amenities very close by - restaurants, convenience store walkable in 5 mins and only about 10-15 mins walk into Tamarindo. Honestly couldn't have asked for anything better. This property made our vacation perfect!

Outside the chaos of Tamarindo town

Pros: across the street from beach with proximity to Tamarindo but out of the chaos. Comfortable rooms, space. Nice shared pool at back door, with nearly no one ever in it. Kitchen is an excellent workspace for 2 and is beautifully equipped with every sort of tool we needed...even a meat thermometer. One of the best I've rented for equipment if you are a cook! Gardner was very helpful. Cons: As mentioned in other reviews, it's a rather naturally dark space but with excellent ceiling lighting. One problem I think is the old dingy curtains which if replaced with light colored ones would brighten the place significantly. Again, as mentioned in other reviews, the towels are also dingy. If the owner is not going to replace towels regularly, then they should have a darker color like brown or blue to mask use/age. The biggest con is that one of the open air bathrooms is open to the eyes of the next door condos a few floors above. Thus, the toilet was initially unusable, unless you like exposing yourself. Since we could not get a refund and really needed both toilets operational, my husband configured a fix by velcroing a sheet across the open area of the toilet portion view, but the shower was a lost cause unless you want to shower in your swimsuit. So 3 of us shared 2 toilets and 1 shower. Overall a very pleasant stay once we resolved to open view toilet.

Beautiful place, close to the beach

Really beautiful place, great proximity to the beach, and plenty of space for 4 people. The kitchen was well stocked, and the pool and roof were great. We could walk down to the beach in 3 minutes, and drive to Tamarindo in 6 minutes. The grounds keeper was around a good amount of the time, and the place had a security gate. We would definitely stay here again. Definitely bring your bug spray!

We were met by groundskeeper Armando and he assisted us with entry. We were immediately impressed with layout and size of accommodation. It was exactly as pictured but even more beautiful. Very well stocked and equipped.Any issues or concerns were tended to quickly. Location is great. Close to beach, groceries and restaurants all within walking distance. Tamarindo is 15-20 minute walk to beaches and restaurants. There are only 5 units in the complex so pool and rooftop are never busy. Rooftop patio was spectacular for sunsets. We were very comfortable and would highly recommend this condo.

The perfect oasis in Tamarindo

The pool is adjacent to one of the patios and it honestly felt like an extension of our unit. The location is minutes away from the beach and an easy walk to town. The kitchen was well-equipped for preparing meals and the pizza place up the street was amazing for quick meals. I would love here!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: El diseño del apartamento hace que sea muy oscuro por lo que siempre, desde la mañana debe tenerse las luces prendidas. No funcionaba el ice maker del refrigerador y el tostador estaba dañado. Ambos problemas fueron solucionados luego de reportarlos, pero este tipo de cosas debería revisarse antes que lleguen los huéspedes, ya que se va a vacacionar, no a gestionar la solución de problemas. En la lavaplatos había casi que lavar los platos para ponerlos porque si no salían sucios. Nunca se me indicó cuándo llegarían a hacer limpieza, tuve que llamar a preguntar y hasta que llegaron luego de estar ahí más de media estadía, supimos donde estaban los paños de la playa y otras cosas, porque no hay nada que lo oriente a uno al respecto. Cuando hicieron la limpieza, cambiaron las sábanas y pusieron unas grises horribles. También en general los paños estaban feos y manchados, igual los limpiones de la cocina. Pese a haberla pedido varias veces (y es algo que no debería tener que pedirse ya que es obligación del proveedor entregarla), NO recibí la factura electrónica, ya que la recibí pero luego hicieron una nota de crédito que es la forma de anular la factura. Aunque no tiene vista, la localización del apartamento es buena ya que se cruza la calle y se puede acceder a la playa.

Our Langosta Stay.

Reviewer Comments: We have used RPM for nearly all of our Costa Rican holidays and have found them efficient, friendly and quick to remedy any problems with rental units. Our stay at Amanpuri #2 was no exception. The bedrooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped, I would suggest that the larger frying pan be replaced otherwise you may be consuming Teflon flakes. The living room was also very comfortable and well furnished, again, I would suggest that the drapes covering the sliding doors be replaced or re-cut to a more appropriate size. My wife and I had no problem with the outside showers, although some guests may object to sharing their shower experience with the local Iguana. Kudos to Armando for the flowers and the cleaning lady for her decorative displays. Overall a great stay, thanks to all.

La playa de langosta es muy natural y limpia, nos encanto y queda solo cruzando la calle. Por tanto la ubicacion de la casa es genial. Esta muy cerca de Tamarindo. Alguna vez fuimos caminando. Es un barrio muy silencioso. Todo muy limpio y el personal respetuoso y amable.

Beautiful location just outside of the more busy Tamarindo but close enough to even walk to restaurants, shopping, etc. Across the street from the beach with beautiful sunsets from the rooftop. The only negative comment I have is the rooftop needs some TLC and you do have to walk a litlle way down the beach if you want to swim in the ocean.The condo itself is fabulous!! I'm somewhat of a clean freak and the condo was spotless, well stocked kitchen & beautifully decorated. Loved the pool area which we basically had to ourselves. Bedrooms are located away from each other which is nice for 2 couples sharing the condo. Very safe with security guards. All of the staff was great-very friendly and accomodating.Especially enjoyed the gardener, Armando!!If you want true CR culture, check out the rodeo in Huacas! Also the boat trip down the Tempisque River (booked thru RPM) You won't be disappointed.Enjoyed our last night dinner at Lapalapa restaurant including a fire show and live music. Not highly rated on Trip Advisor but we tried it anyway-one of our best meals in CR!If you are able, check out the Arenal Volcano area-absolutley beautiful!! We started our vacation in Jaco area and finished here-very glad this was our final spot in CR! The country is beautiful with so much to see and do. CR people(Ticos) are so friendly and helpful even if you speak little Spanish. Pura Vida!!!

The condo was amazing, staff absolutely awesome, fresh flowers in the morning, great attitudes from everyone. Power outage and construction no problem, water issue no problem. Couldn't Ask For More

Reviewer Comments: Our trip to Costa Rica and our Stay at the Amanpuri #2 unit was for mine and my Wife's 25th anniversary so you can imagine how important a fabulous trip would be to us. With this in mind, I can only say the experience was OVER THE TOP in every imaginable way. You know what the say - Location, Location, Location and this trip had it all. Speaking first to the town, both Tamarindo and Playa Longusta were great places to see. The dining, entertainment, shopping and beach experience in Tamarindo was superb. In Longusta, the town was quaint with beach access from the condo only 100 yards away. With regard to the Amanpuri #2 unit we stayed in I can only describe it as AMAZING. The unit is simply stunning as is the entire complex. From the roof top balcony with wonderful ocean views to the private pool and patio areas for secluded relaxation you just can't ask for more. Lastly, with regard to the RPM Management Staff, the experience was again, WAY OVER THE TOP. To the front office, reservation, Shuttle and tour services provided by the office were done so flawlessly (Thank you Lola and team), To the complex maintenance, security and cleaning crews, the grounds and the unit were immaculate and gave a real feeling of safety. The complex staff was extremely friendly and helped us with everything from hailing a taxi to carrying in groceries and luggage, and seeing that every possible expectation was met (Well Done To All). The only questions I left Costa Rica with was is the lot across the street from the Amanpuri complex for sale, where do I sign, and who can build me a vacation home on that lot… Just a fantastic experience in every way and would recommend to anyone not only that unit but to work with RPM on their next trip to the area.
