A beautiful home in the perfect location! This place had everything we needed for a wonderful first trip to Costa Rica.

A truly enchanting escape in Playa Langosta, away from the hustle of Tamarindo. My family had a marvelous stay. Great memories made. The host and the management (RPM) were responsive and very accommodating. Highly recommend Villa Encantada!

Perfect for families. Far enough from main area of Tamarindo to be quiet, but close enough to walk or very short drive. Beach access to Playa Langosta across the street. The pool is heavenly and private. Russell was extremely available and communicative. Would highly recommend. Tandoor is a solid Indian restaurant literally next door, and Fish and Cheeses is a very good Italian restaurant 3-5 min walk away. They had plenty of homemade pastas, cheese, and even guanciale!

Family Friendly...An Oasis!!

Very easy to get there with the directions provided. With temeratures in the mid 90 (30 C) we loved the private pool and used it often.Very safe and quiet to sleep with the windows open. Doing so allowed us to hear the Howler monkeys in the morning...Magical experience.

Beautiful house and location..pool outstanding..beach access across the road but not a spot to go swimming..inundated by ants in some areas of home..no outdoor shower which would have been nice..close to a few restaurants and close to Tamarindo..a grocery store close by too..overall a place i would go back too

Charming villa

Location was great. One minute walk to beach to watch the sunset almost every evening. Property management was very responsive to any needs that we had. Real old world, charm and a beautiful outdoor area with trees, plants and a pool. location. Quiet area, but yet only four minutes away by golf cart to Tamarindo, where a lot of action is going on. I would definitely recommend this place.

Magical Gem in Tamarindo!

THIS was our best family vacay yet! And we have traveled all over the world. We felt like we were entering a Moroccan oasis… in Costa Rica. We LOVED the pool. We cooked the whole 8 days and had everything we needed. The villa is right across the street from the most gorgeous sunset. Owners were responsive and care…great hosts! We got to see a monkey family right outside the villa. The location is quiet yet still central to everything. We will be back! Pura Vida.

The Sweet Spot

The pictures of this property are accurate. The location and facilities really hit the sweet spot. The property is across the street from a comparatively unpopulated beach and there is an easy access path. It's not far to get to the really populated Tamarindo beach when that is what you want. At the middle of the day when you want to get out of the sun and take a break the private pool and courtyard are heaven on earth. Just add your favorite beverage and relax; we spent A LOT of time doing just that. Host communications were a breeze.

The perfect location for our family vacation!

This home was beyond perfect for our family of 6- all adults. We loved the layout (private baths for each bedroom- each open air) and decor, the pool, the well stocked kitchen and most importantly, the proximity to the beach! There is a short path right across the street that leads to the most gorgeous beach. Although not ideal for swimming (too rocky) it does have tidal pools for lounging and the most gorgeous sunset viewing! Russ was so helpful from the time of booking and in the days leading up to our stay. We were on the go much of the time, but were always so happy to return home to the villa. We can't wait to return!

Birthday Celebration

The property was charming. A pool with a fountain running welcomed us and inside the house was painted in beautiful colors. The accommodations were exceptional. The beds incredible comfortable. We had a few minor issues (the water for showers was lukewarm for example) but the property management company addressed those immediately. We rented a golf cart and were able to get around town quite easily. Despite the rain we had a blast and the neighborhood was quiet. I can’t say the we were but then how often does one turn seventy! It is one I will never forget

1st time in Costa Rica

The rooms were comfortable and we slept well with the sound of rain in the outdoor living spaces. We had a chef prepare a delicious brunch. The beach is beautiful and a short walk across the street. The house and pool are perfect for the setting in the quaint town of Tamarindo. Would highly recommend, and will be back to stay again. Thank you!!!!

Beautiful space!

We instantly felt right at home at Villa Encantada, the space is stunning, the beds were comfortable, the pool temperature was perfect. Aside from the constant construction I think the house was perfect to host us for our girls trip. It was right across the street to the quiet beach and a short 20 minute walk to the town center.

Great Property!

Had a great time! House is just as shown in pictures. Pool was amazing. With in walking distance to several good restaurants. The beach that you can walk to is really pretty, but isn’t really swimmable, it has lots of big rocks. But you can drive (about two min) or walk (abojt 20 min to another beach that is. Property manager was easy to contact. Overall great time!

Had the most amazing stay!! The place was fantastic. Howler monkeys cross over the trees at dawn and dusk. Pool is so amazing, when we were at the house we stayed in the glorious pool as much as possible. Thank you!

Just wonderful

I am a 71 year old, active mature, fun, loving woman. I took two of my friends of similar age as guest down to Villa Encantada.. We had a wonderful time with no exceptions. The villa was perfect for us. Beautifully decorated. Just the right amount of space for us all to have our Own bedroom and bathroom. Kitchen was incredibly well stocked. It was clean. The bedsheets were lovely and it was the perfect getaway. Even when we had tiny issues with the air conditioning and the pool, when I contacted the management company, RPM… Everything was addressed In a very speedy way. Pool was delicious, the privacy was too. Other than it being 97° every day, we had a perfect time. The location in Playa Landosta Was perfect for the peace and quiet of that and the proximity to tamarindo. I go back to that area. I have no doubt that this is where I would want to return to. All in all it was JUST Wonderful. I recommend Villa Encantada wholeheartedly.

Fantastic Villa for an active family

This was one of the best VRBO experiences we have had and we have been happy with all of them. My family of 6 (including teenagers) stayed at the property and had plenty of room to spread out and it was well equipped. Located away from the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo but still very accessible by roadside pay-for scooters, golf cart (rented next door) , car (parked in driveway) and was even walkable. It had a cool, Spanish vibe with a beautiful pool and courtyard to lounge by. Cleaners and someone who took care of the pool and grounds came by multiple times per week. I used RPM and Lola to book excurions ahead of time and left the second half of the week unbooked so I could get a feel what what we wanted to do once there. Lola gave great advice and we ended up using Captain Jim (Life is Better at Sea) out of Flamingo for a private boat day with fishing and snorkeling/paddleboarding, scuba (Flamingo) and many 1/2 day fishing trips. Surf at Witch's Rock. My kids liked to go across the st down a few blocks to the Langosta Beach Club. We used it for massages, yoga, and beach chair set up and menu service on beach. It was about 30 dollars per person per day and we had to get there early or they sold out (it was spring break). There is a pool there too. The better beach is at the end of the road by Occidental hotel-you can walk there. It is quieter, no panhandling and more picturesque than the club one or in town of Tamarindo. Russ was a pleasure to work with.

Pura Vida

Good stay in Tamarindo. The layout of the villa worked really well for us (4 adults, 2 children). The pool was a real hit with us all as it was quite hot during our stay. Playa Langosta is just across the street and Playa Tamarindo is an easy walk away. Lots of pool and beach towels available. The owners were very quick to respond to questions, and the management team at RPM/Tropical Vacations was fantastic. We hired the private chef through RPM one night. I highly recommend this. What a treat! Christian, the chef, prepared a phenomenal meal for us. This was a great vacation for us. Always a few hiccups when traveling, but the overall experience Pura Vida.

Relaxing week at the Villa

Great location - close enough to hop on a Bird scooter or rent a bike for getting into Tamarindo (~5 mins by scooter), but no noise from town. Lovely to sit by the pool and read, take a dip and read some more! Comfortable beds and bedding, kitchen was clean. Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous house and wonderful hosts

I can't say enough about this place and the hosts! The house is beautifully decorated with all the amenities we wanted. The hosts were rapid in their responses to our questions and Tamarindo Beach is a special area.
