"We loved our 3 night stay at Red Box Retreat. The master suite is comfortable, with lovely views. The bed is comfy and the linen was very nice. The kitchen is easy to cook in and well stocked with pots and pans, plates and everything you need to cook up a storm. The property is private and a little oasis. We have stayed in Yack many times, but this is our first time at Red Box Retreat - and we hope to come back! Highly recommended. "

"What a beautiful and relaxing stay! The house is carefully planned for coziness, and comfort. Beautifully decorated to make you feel instantly comfortable and ‘at home’. The outdoor spaces with the deck, fire pit and spa allowed for long conversations and looking at the stars as long as you want. Then to a warm, fluffy bed to rest up and sleep your troubles away. "We all enjoyed our stay in this comfortable and well equipped family home. As we stayed in winter the wood fired heater added great atmosphere to the standard heating. Beautiful scenery and beautiful garden with a balcony we also enjoyed. Owners are very friendly and were happy to refund when we had to cancel the previous year due to Covid."

"This little cottage is very clean, have all the cooking utensils, extra towels, blankets. Also pet friendly. Nice back grass area to play with our pup. No fence to cover the property. But it was not a problem as no other animals around not much traffic on the roads as well. Very nice surroundings, beautiful mountain 360 views on top of the Mount Benambra summit. There's much to do even if you are not into fishing."
