  • Excellent location. A little quiet community in the middle of everything. Comfortable inside with everything that you need. Free coffee, creamer, condiments, laundry detergent, and soaps. Updating for your comfort, installed bamboo floors, tile floor in both bathrooms, freshly painted and now brand new all gas stove. Come enjoy the comforts of home. You should definitely enjoy your stay.

Peaceful weekend getaway

We very much enjoyed staying at this property. Quiet, cozy and peaceful. It was a nice relaxing weekend getaway. Good location with anything you need very close by. The only very small issue we had was we would have liked a little more water pressure out of the shower. I would definitely stay at this property again and recommend it to everyone.

Comfortable Property

I stayed at the property for a little over a month while visiting Tallahassee. The home gives an old Florida feel with mostly modern comforts. Would stay at location again.

Cute little home

This was a cute little home. Enjoyed the stay. Front porch was cozy, but was disappointed with back yard, it was inaccessible due to many fallen tree limbs. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Cute house

It’s a very cute house. I loved the front porch. The beds were comfortable For me, I love a firm bed. We were there visiting my son at FSU. The location is great.

Cute cottage

The cottage is very cute. It has lots of Florida charm. The location was central but outside area and backyard could be tidied up a bit.

Easy comfortable great location

Check in was simple with a lock box. The house is clean and organized. The house has a lot of character and I love love love the screen porch.

Great location, helpful host

Property location was perfectly centralized to enjoy all Tallahassee has to offer including a short drive to the game, walking trail to Cascades park, and great food all around. The property was exactly what we needed for our dog, with a screened front porch and fenced backyard. The host was helpful and quick to address any issues.

Pleasant Stay!

Family and I in town for game and wanted property that was easily accessible to stadium and related events. Location was perfect, no more than 10 minutes away, even with traffic snarls. The home itself was very comfortable and provided a quiet setting for us to relax, prepare meals and enjoy sitting on the screened-in front porch. Any concerns or questions I had were promptly addressed by host. We welcome the opportunity to stay here again.

2 night stay

The owner changed the lockbox code without telling us and I couldn't reach him for 10 minutes or so calling him multiple times. A hot tub was listed, but there wasn't one. Paint is all over the walls- my sister called this property "the landlord special" because of the paint everywhere. The walls and doors could be wiped down and a lot of my issues with the cleanliness of the place would be better. Would not stay again, glad we only stayed 2 nights.

Look elsewhere

It was easy to check in the owner was nice. The refrigerator had been left open so we had to eat the first three meals out while the refrigerator got up to temperature. It was my son’s birthday and the food that we had brought had to be thrown out the next day because refrigerator still had not had not achieved a temperature that would keep food cold. saying that the house has a backyard is generous. It is a fenced in unmaintained mess. The beds are hard as a rock. The pillows are very comfortable. I always wear slippers and somebody else’s home. I’m not comfortable in hotels without something on our feet and it’s something that I require my children. The second night we were there. I went into the kitchen to make a tea turn on the light and roach a scattered only too, but that was enough, the water out of the shower dribbles after not demanding any money back and just telling him what things need to be fixed. I received an email saying that I needed to pay 200 for a rip on a leather couch and it is a very worn leather couch that already existed when we got there I noticed it immediately. I should’ve taken pictures. He sent me an email. Blame it on the dog. Just save yourself the time and don’t book this place.

Bugs!

I don’t often write reviews, but felt compelled to regarding this property. We stayed in this VRBO while visiting our daughter at FSU for parents weekend. Just for context, we do quite a bit of traveling and probably stay in 3 to 5 VRBO per year. With respect to location, this is a great piece of property and it is also in a safe neighborhood. Regarding the interior of the property, it is definitely nowhere near as nice as the Photos make it look. Not dirty, per se, But just dated and dingy. Not that big a deal to us, We’ve encountered the same thing With the other Tallahassee rentals, we’ve stayed in. To be par for the course here. The major problem I had with this particular rental was the amount of bugs. We had our infant Here, And had to keep her confined to her Play pen To the amount of insects on the floor. In fact, we went through a whole bottle of bug killer, trying to take care of all the roaches. When I told the Owner this on the way out And asked for a credit, he told me “ I should have let him know”….. I’m not really sure what he could’ve done other than come around and spray a bunch of bug spray just like we did. We probably took about 10 videos of bugs, scurrying around the kitchens, the bathrooms, the general living area. This is a much larger problem than just a bug here or there.. The other issue I’d like to mention is the “backyard”. The back porch was like something out of a horror movie along with an unkempt space full of weeds behind it.
