What a wonderful set up! Clean, private, spacious, easy and timely communication with Katie, the host. Serene peaceful surrounding and close to Talahina as well as the start of the Talimeda Scenic Byway.We loved the place, fully stocked with everything needed, wished we could have stayed longer.Thank you Katie!

This beautiful cabin was very cozy. Was furnished with everything needed for kitchen, cooking, tv relaxing and outdoor peaceful setting. We grilled and sat around fire pit looking for stars.

The cabin was clean and ready for guests. Before we arrived, the host stopped by to turn on the lights for us. As we arrived, we took a wrong turn (didn't follow directions...) and the host's husband tracked us down and led us to the cabin. The location was quiet and peaceful as well as just a very short distance to the park.

Our family weekend

Stay was awesome. We found our cabin quickly because we had instructions from owner. But address wasn’t correct, no sign at entrance, so our daughter could not find us tell we talked to her. Had everything we could possibly need to complement our cooking. Good beds, good appliances, huge rooms, beautiful interior wood walls & floor. Pieces making up the doorways were exceptional. We had a great time.Could have used more outside area for hosting small gathering, ( meaning picnic table, outdoor chairs more than two, maybe some more pavers to give an area off the grass. I’m very allergic to chiggers)Overall, we loved the cabin. Thank you Katie & husband & sons.

Relaxing getaway

Such a beautiful cabin! Clean and set up so comfortably, I felt so relaxed and at home as soon as we stepped in the door. We couldn’t find the hairdryer, but otherwise all of the basic necessities were provided, and I was impressed by the abundance of extra pillows and blankets and that the tv was hooked up to cable. We were in town for an event, so we didn’t spend much time at the house, but I wish we had planned to stay longer and enjoy the beautiful location and outdoor amenities. Definitely make time to use the fire pit if you can! I personally feel they went above and beyond to prepare the cabin and I highly recommend!

Very pleasant stay outside the quaint town of Talihina. We used this location as a jumping off spot for our hike on the Oauchita Trail. Katie is a most helpful host. Definitely would stay again. :)

Pre-Hike Stay

Very nice cozy property. We were wanting to stay close to Talimena SP and this was perfect. Comforable beds. We were hiking early in the morning so we didn't have time to just stay and enjoy the house. I would stay there again.
