Schade um das Hotel

Wir waren die einzigen Gäste. Das Morgenessen war mit dabei aber ich musste das zuerst beweisen- Das Morgenessen war a la Carte und sehr gut. Die Anlage wäre schön aber leider schaut seit langem niemand mehr richtig dazu. Der Besitzer ist leider schon lange krank und seine Familie ist überfordert damit. Dann hatten wir kein Wasser mehr . Sie haben sich bemüht es zu reparieren was nach ca 5 mal es geht ,es geht doch nicht klappte. Mühsam wenn man Abends zurück kommt- Die Matratze war leider steinhart. Das Zimmer ist aber sehr schön, Das Personal lieb und bemüht was aber leider trotzdem nicht zu einem erholsamen Urlaub reicht. Ich hatte zum Glück nur 2 Nächte länger hätte ich nicht auf der Matratze schlafen können. Trotz allem ein schönes Hotel das mit guter Führung wieder top wäre.

This hotel has the potential to be great. Service good, breakfast lovely, room spacious and felt traditional Thai. However wifi did not work in the room, swimming pool was not clean and access was awful if on your own - past a partially built hotel on one side and woodland on the other with no street lighting. I am sure this will improve soon as the building work looks close to being finished and the hotel being built is a classy one. I must say I was not aware of the building work while in the hotel.

Bästa personalen.

Ett litet familje hotell som ligger lite avsides men ändå ok. Saknade möjlighet att koka vatten/kaffe på rummet och där sängarna var ovanligt hårda men täcken och kuddar var perfekta. Det fanns ingen buffé frukost men väl en alacarte frukost som med ett utbud var bra mycket bättre än dom flesta buffé frukostar på andra hotell. Personalen helt underbara med den bästa servicen man kan få. Vi råkade ut för en incident med motorbiken, Peter och personalen på hotellet hjälpte oss att reda ut det med en lokal verkstad för en billig peng. Ett hotel som varmt rekommenderas. Ett annat tipps, hyr ingen motorbike ta taxi, ett säkrare alternativ om ni skall på utflykter. Oftast är det andra som är orsak till olyckor.

Ruhiges kleines privat geführtes direkt am Strand

Wirklich schöne und gepflegte Anlage, toller Pool mit Liegen, Zimmer alle zum Pool / zum Meer ausgerichtet. Ein kleiner Pfad führt direkt zum Strand mit vielen kleinen Bars. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, die Zimmer sind schön ausgestattet, allerdings ist die Klimaanlage sehr laut, das WLAN eher schlecht und langsam und Informationen zu touristischen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten sollte man sich eher außerhalb der Hotelanlage suchen. Die Haupt-Touristen-Straße liegt ca. 10 Minuten entfernt (zu Fuß) mit vielen Bars, Restaurants and Shops.

Hübsches Hotel im thailändischen Stil

Das Hotel liegt in Strandnähe, 2, 3 Minuten. Der Garten mit Pool ist gepflegt. Es wird ein sehr gutes Frühstück serviert, kein Büfett. Wir waren leider nur einen Tag dort.

Zentrum ist in ca. 10 Fußminuten zu erreichen, sehr nettes Personal, saubere Zimmer, super ruhiger Pool

Great hotel close to beach

Great experience- friendly staff and excellent breakfast cooked to order. Close to beach, lovely beach bars and restaurants to eat at in the evenings. Spacious rooms, very clean with all facilities including wifi. Will go back!

Sehr schön gelegenes Hotel. Ideal wenn man es etwas ruhiger liebt . Wie waren sehr zufrieden und werden sicherlich nochmal dort übernachten.

Nice staff and location but not a 4 star resort.

The hotel, location and staff were lovely however the cut down in facilities and services made to a disappointing slightly below average stay. To start with the positives the staff were great, friendly and attentive and Peter the hotel manager is a fountain of good advice and knowledge. The hotel it's self is a stylish contemporary continental meets Thai design. This is reflected in the rooms which are clean, simple, well decorated and furnished. The deluxe rooms also have a beautiful view of the hotel grounds, river, beach and the sea. The gardens look nice on the surface and so does the pool. However this is pretty much all the hotel offers and there are some pretty fundamental negatives. The hotel felt that it was passed it's hay day and had a skeleton staff and had completely cut down on it's services. This is perhaps exemplified by the restaurant being closed at 5 pm when the cook finishes work. The spa needed prior notice to it's use but we got the impression that this was a difficulty. The hotel manager Peter is great but he's a one man show and the hotel is starting to show signs of neglect and lack of maintenance. Lamps, roof tiles and various other hotel fixtures are obviously broken. No tea or coffee facilities in the room was also annoying and needed to be requested and paid for. Basically it felt like our options in the hotel were to be in the room or be by the pool which has no shade and was full of Insects. There were lots of other minor complaints to.

-Zimmer sauber und in gutem Zustand -gepflegte Hotelanlage -sehr ruhig -Jeden Tag werden neue Badzimmer- sowie Strandtücher zur Verfügung gestellt -Strand/Meer ist ca. 100m weiter vorne, zu Fuss gut erreichbar. Der kurze Weg dorthin ist öffentlich und mit Müll verschmutzt -Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit bei Fragen -Lage von Market etwas versteckt (kurze Waldstrecke), mit gemietetem Roller oder Taxi in ca 5min gut erreichbar

Charming!

I spent one night at the Riverside in January after a dive trip, and had a great stay. The service was informal yet impeccable - I felt like I was staying at a good friend's beach-side mansion. My room was spacious, good-as-new clean, bright and cheery. The hotel itself is situated beside an estuarine (not brackish or smelly though) stream with the beach in view. It has a very tranquil vibe; it feels slightly remote from the rest of Khao Lak, which is actually only a short walk away. The manager, Peter, is earnest, friendly, and sincere - he gave one of the most detailed and professional briefings about the room and amenities I've ever heard. He and the owner Ja were such warm and charming folks, they even arranged for me to have a massage and meal at her nearby restaurant (and she personally fetched me to and fro!), and an extra-early breakfast the next day as I had to leave for the airport early. It was just a one-night stay, but I had a wonderful time.

Peaceful, clean and comfortable!

We had a really relaxed and enjoyable stay at Khao Lak Riverside Spa & Resort. If you are searching for a quiet and peaceful location in an extraordinary calm atmosphere where you can heel and charge your batteries this is a great place to stay at. We very much appreciated the peacefulness and the location close to the beach. There was a short walk into the nearest area with restaurants, bars and shops that was somewhat dark in the evening. A flash light is recommended! The room and the terrace were very clean and welcoming. The design of the room was quite stylishly with a high quality of furniture and building materials. Large windows contributed in making the room bright and beautiful. The hotel staff was very helpful, gentle and kept a very high service grade to ensure our comfort. Our host, Peter from Hungary, was most helpful and gladly assisted us with booking transports and excursions. The breakfast offered a vast variety of different options and tasted very well. We will for sure come back and stay at Khao Lak Riverside Spa & Resort next time in Thailand.

今や五月蝿くなってしまったカオラック。 しかし、ここはラマダと共に、海に面し静粛である。 私はホテルに静粛さを１、清潔さを２、後は　食事、部屋の広さなどだが、１、２を満たさないのはどんな良いホテルでも嫌である。 ここは１、２を完全に満たしている。

Relaxing Resort

Riverside Resort was wonderful.The owners Marcus and Bruno were outstanding hosts, nothing was a problem, the breakfasts were delicious and the rooms were spacious and very clean, the staff especially Lak the waiter was very attentive and friendly towards all the guests. the resort is very relaxing with a beautiful pool and only 1 mninute walk to beach. we stayed 8 nights and it went way to quickly, we will stay there again in a heatbeat!!!

Great place. No in-room coffee maker. Clean clean clean. Tub and separate shower in the very nice bathroom. Very nice pool. Owner/Management is very helpful. Helped with a late check-out to work with our flight/taxi.

Get Away From it All in Elegant Luxury

If you are looking for a quiet place to get away from it all in beautiful surroundings this is it. It is far enough out of town that you need a vehicle to visit. The gardens and the pool are immaculate. The views are superb. It's a short walk to the beach and the usual array of beach vendors, but if you stay by the pool you would hardly know they are there. The rooms are excellent (the only problem in mine was the old, tiny, poorly located TV which seemed out of place in the elegant modern room). Service is good, if a little erratic at times at breakfast, and the food is excellent.

superb small hotel in lovely location

This hotel offers excellent personal service, lovely rooms and a good choice of thai and european food in house (and lots of other choices nearby). It is set in lovely gardens next to a long beach where you can watch the sunset from bars or dine at the beach restaurants. A peaceful location but with all the facilities you need nearby.
