"A little nice gem in the heart of Kanazawa. It's hard to believe the building was over 100 years old. Great job on the renovation. It is the house of a samouraï built 150 years ago but with all the modern conveniences: air conditioned in every room, TV, WiFi, fonctional kitchen and even a washer/drier. He also provided helpful maps identifying local restaurants and attractions nearby. The host had great communication and had thought of everything. "Lovely neighborhood, centrally located, and clean space. There was a helpful map included in the room. Most major points of interest in Kanazawa were a reasonable walk from the location. They ability to do laundry was nice after the busier parts of our trip. It is nice to have an option to sleep on tatami or a modern bed in the same space."
