Perfect!

What a comfortable and well located spot for our family of four. My kids loved the toys and there was plenty of space to spread out and relax. The slopes in the neighborhood were perfect for my kids to start learning to ski and being right next to Truckee was great. We will be back!

Great place!

Very cozy with everything you need! Our kids loved all the toys and games. Beautiful location with sledding right out back. After a heavy snow we found the parking area and streets plowed promptly- this is important when visiting Tahoe in the winter! We hope to return!

Great for families with young kids

Great stay over the holidays. Convenient location, nice set up. The best is how well stoked the home is, which is so nice to have when you have a young kid. Tons of dishes, pots, etc to eat many meals and throw it all into the dishwasher. Lots of games and toys for little ones to play. Takes a load off. Thanks James for adding the small but important touches.

Wonderful stay; spacious, clean, good layout

Stayed here twice--a couple years ago and recently (a couple weeks ago). Both times, was great. The two masters are great, and the kids enjoyed their own hideout--the loft area, which has twin bunk and a pull-out sofa, and TV. Very clean, and great communication with the owner from the instant I booked to the time I left. Feels more spacious than the photos, feels like a stand-alone home. A stone's throw from Tahoe Donner. Would definitely book here again!

Tidy condo close to skiing

Came with our family of 5 to find a cozy, well furnished condo with plenty of games, DVDs, loft lounge for the kids, and functional kitchen. Easily walked to the ski slopes (9 mins). Overall very happy with the condo. Only issue: Upstairs neighbor unfriendly and inconsiderate, hopefully you can avoid her!

Perfect Family Ski Getaway in Stunning Truckee Cabin

This beautiful, modern cabin in Truckee was the ideal getaway for our family ski trip. The kids were absolutely thrilled with the amazing amenities – they had so much fun they didn't want to leave! The cabin itself was impeccably clean and tastefully decorated, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. We loved that it was within walking distance of a smaller ski slope, perfect for our little ones to practice and build confidence. Overall, a fantastic experience and we would definitely recommend this cabin to any family looking for a memorable ski vacation!

Nice condo in Tahoe Donner

Great couple of days spent in Tahoe and this condo worked well for what we needed. Spacious (more spacious than the pictures represent) comfy and clean. Kids loved having half the garage as a playroom and we all enjoyed hiking to the cross country ski trails out back. We didn't spend much time inside and when we were inside, it's a little dark.

Great family vacation!

We are so grateful for Jame’s property! It was the perfect home away from home for our family’s first vacation since covid and our first time seeing snow. We are from Hawaii and spent many days in the backyard building snow people and sledding! James garage was well stocked with snow toys for the children. The playroom next to the kitchen was the kids’ favorite spot in the house! My apologies if my children were too loud for the neighbors. We got no complaints…but goodness, they were noisy and thoroughly enjoying themselves!! We also made great use of the gas fireplace, and the heated master bathroom. Sooo grateful as we were not used to the cold. Mahalo mahalo for the hospitality!!

Winter wonderland

We had a wonderful stay at this property. We were so close to the ski resort where my daughters learned to ski! James was super responsive and the house was immaculate and well stocked. Our kids had a blast. We will be back for sure!

Perfect for family with children

We loved our stay at this condo, and it was perfect for our family (me, my husband, 3 and 1 year old kids). The kids loved the toys and the loft area was a great space for them to play. The rooms were nice, beds were comfortable and the property was very quiet. We also loved the gas fireplace! The house had most everything you would need, including soap but there was no shampoo. The kitchen was very well appointed and everything was very clean. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Tahoe!

Perfect stay!

This place was absolutely perfect for our family's trip to Tahoe! The home was immaculately clean, the kitchen was well-stocked, the beds extremely comfortable and the toys a happy distraction for our kids. Fantastic Place

We had a hard time leaving this property, we took our 8yr old daughter skiing at Tahoe Donner for the first time. We were literally 5 mins away from the resort which made getting there a breeze. The property is immaculate and is stocked with games and toys which our daughter loved, the owners really make sure that your stay here is perfect. I highly recommend this property for anyone who wants to experience Tahoe Donner.

Great Family Snow Weekend

The house was exactly as described and the check-in was super easy. The space was perfect for our family with two young kids with lots of toys and kids plates/silverware. It was clean and cozy. The walk to Tahoe Donner was easy and the slopes there were perfect for my 7 year old beginner skier. It was also nice to have some space right outside to play in the snow. There is a clearing behind the rental where kids had been building snow forts, snowmen and sled runs that my kids liked exploring. It was the perfect long weekend getaway, we’ll definitely consider coming back again.

Great stay!

The place is centrally located and has everything you need for an active vacation, or just stay at home and relax. James is super accommodating host. He was in touch with us even before the trip to make sure that we can get safely to the area as the conditions were pretty bad because of the storm.

This was a gem! My friends and I enjoyed a much-needed girls’ weekend, and this property was comfortable, well-appointed, and near plenty of activities. We had a great time. Also, James the host/owner was VERY helpful and easy to get a hold of when we had a small issue upon arrival. Super responsive and overall great to work with. Would definitely recommend this place!
