As you step inside, the living area greets you with plush leather sofas and a brick fireplace that radiates warmth. Just around the corner lies the dining area and fully equipped kitchen with gleaming stainless-steel appliances, a stove with a double oven, and wooden cabinetry. Two delightful bedrooms promise a restful retreat — the first with a queen bed, TV, and access to the deck, and the second bedroom with two twin beds.

    But the true magic of Westlake Cabin lies just outside. The large fenced-in backyard is your private alpine sanctuary, with a hot tub for soothing soaks and peaceful forest surroundings. A spacious deck with an outdoor dining table and seating area awaits for morning coffee, alfresco meals, and evening cocktails.     Westlake Cabin is perfectly positioned to take advantage of all that Lake Tahoe has to offer. A mere 5-minute walk takes you to the sandy shores of Lake Tahoe, as well as locally-loved eateries like Sunnyside Restaurant, Fire Sign Café, Shadyside Lounge, and West Shore Market. In warmer months, rent paddle boards and bikes at West Shore Sports or opt for a boat rental or chartered boat. Tahoe City is just a short 5-minute drive away for even more shopping and dining. The biking and pedestrian trail just outside the house can take you all the way to Tahoe City and Tahoma without getting in your car! Head 5 minutes south of the house to hit the slopes at Homewood Mountain Resort in the winter. Alpine Meadows Ski Resort and Palisades are only 15 minutes away.     - Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval, there is a fine of $500 per pet.
    - Please note this home does not have A/C.
    - We kindly ask that you remove your shoes at the door.
    - We kindly ask that you do not bring wet skis and snowboards inside.
    - Please note that all outdoor furniture and amenities, including grills, are seasonal and available from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

    This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

    As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

    Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

    There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

    As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

    IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.

The cabin was very clean, beds were comfy, location was excellent!! We walked to great restaurants nearby like fire sign cafe, spoon, and west shore market. It’s also close to hiking spots. Jacuzzi was great snd amenities were perfect for us and our infant. It was a but hot for us during our visit in early september as the property does not have AC which was mentioned on the listing. Appliances were modern and like brand new. Complementary coffee was nice. The place was well stocked and cutleries were also nice.y family enjoyed our stay. Would recommend staying here!
