At approximately 10:30 PM, the sounds intensified, making it impossible to sleep. We moved upstairs and attempted to rest in the master bedroom and sofa, but were too distressed to sleep. The next morning, we reported the issue to the host at 7:30 AM.Later that evening (August 6), we visually confirmed the presence of rodents (mice) inside the home, both on the first and second floors. We recorded video evidence of the rodent and contacted VRBO support immediately. Despite our distress and the clear health risk, we were told the host would only offer a 30% refund for the first night.
