We enjoyed our stay at Lippe Lodge. All bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was exceptionally stocked with all that was needed for our cooking needs. The grandchildren loved the game room and we all enjoyed the proximity to the beach and local hiking trails.

This space was perfect for our extended family - lots of full bedrooms as well as semi-private twin beds for kids to sleep in! The host was extremely communicative and responded immediately to any questions we had, although the thorough information provided ahead of time left few questions upon arrival. The house was clean and had everything we needed, including multiple rooms and areas for our large group to hang out in. Would highly recommend for a family or friend's trip!

Easy to walk to the lake and great restaurants like Sunnyside and Shady side... be careful since the bears are active. Just DO NOT bother them. They were in the neighborhood and yard a number of times. We had a great time overall and only wished the weather was warmer...but we still swam in the lake.

Great place and so spacious!

This place was perfect for our crew at Western States 100 race. Plenty of beds, hot tub, huge deck/patio, boat rentals and hiking trails within walking distance, so much space for hanging out…we had a great time here!

Great house for family groups

We were two families with kids (and pets) and had a great stay at the Lippe Lodge. The location was key for easy access to the Palisades and the backyard was perfect for snow play. Lots of space and beds in the house to accommodate all. Melanie the host was very communicative and accommodating and we appreciated her quick follow-ups to our questions.

Nice House

Very nice house. Clean, big, with a good kitchen. Lots of beds. Laid out a little weirdly with the beds up stairs but would be fine for kids and such. Overall a very good stay.

Excellent lodging experience with the family! Thank you!

We recently stayed this past weekend. Excellent propery and location. Melanie was very nice and prompt with communication throughout the entire process from booking until the time we checked out. :) The home was spacious for the 10 of us + 2 dogs. The children loved the game room pool table and spa. We got to enjoy the spa after a day of hiking and jet skiing at the lake nearby. Would highly recommend staying here :)

Fun in Tahoe

I was so happy with the house. Plenty of beds,close to all sights. We had an amazing time with the family. The older kids loved playing at different disc golf courses, and the tree top adventure park , along with all of the tourist spots. It was a great week .

Great Booking

The Lippe Lodge was the perfect space for my family. Traveling with two young children is always a daunting task but the home was exactly what we needed! The large outdoor space allowed everyone to enjoy the sunshine and relax. Location of the house was perfect for a short walk down to the lake too!

Great family get away

Beautiful property with space for everyone. We enjoyed the large deck with propane fire and hot tub. The upstairs game room was huge. House is very well stocked but a bit outdated. Close to beaches and restaurants. We had plenty of room for all. Great place for families.

Ski trip to Tahoe

Enjoyed staying here for our ski trip to Palisade ski resort for three families. The house was clean in quiet neighborhood and on 15-20 min away from the ski resort. Tahoe city was just 10 min away. The price was very reasonable. There was plenty of space for three families. The kids enjoyed playing pool upstairs in the game room. There is no suite bedroom where the bathroom is attached. Some of the beds were little order and wasn’t the most comfortable. The host was easy to work with. Enjoyed our stay.

Great multi family stay

Our close knit friend group has been doing an annual ski/snow trip for years, and the Lippe Lodge was by far the best suited to our needs of all that we have stayed at over the years. Our families had room to be together and still not feel cramped, and really enjoyed the pool table and hot tub! While the kitchen was a little small for a group as big as ours, it was easy to manage. Proximity to skiing, snow activities and amenities were just fantastic, highly recommend the Lippe Lodge for group stays!

Large Tahoe City rental, great for families

This house has lots of space and is ideal for families. The large deck, grill, hot tub, and upstairs gameroom are great amenities. We also enjoyed the horseshoe game set up in the yard. The house is dated, but comfortable. The property manager responded very quickly to our questions and needs. Our visit in July 2023 in Tahoe City meant crowded beaches, stores, and traffic, so I personally will not come back to this area. However, Tahoe is beautiful and I hope all visitors will do their part to keep it that way. We rented a kayak at Commons Beach, rode the Gondola at North Star Village to hike, and hiked other nearby trails. Mountain biking is very popular as are the water sports. As visitors from Texas we also enjoyed the cool evenings and nights. Chipmonk visitors in the house were very entertaining for the young children in our group.

Would return!

We spent the most time in the large sectional couch family room facing the outdoors and then also the outdoor space! Corner house. Great outdoor area for our pup, horseshoes, badminton, volleyball and just enjoying the beauty of trees and stars. Kitchen had everything we needed and we did a lot of cooking. Upstairs got warm but opened windows and used the many fans available and cooled down nicely. Kitchen dining area was large enough for the 10 of us to all enjoy together. Super thoughtful welcome package…including a treat for our pup! 💙🐶. WiFi worked great. Towels were so soft. Washer and dryer convenient. Lots of sap from the trees. Sap goop remover was left for us and worked great. Lots of helpful notes left. Such a wonderful week!

Great place
