6/10 Aceptable

Start with the positive: the beds are super comfy and there are lots of bedrooms if you rent upper and lower units. And the view is absolutely spectacular! This place has so much potential with some pretty easy fixes: kitchen is big and gorgeous but very little cups, plates or bowls. The upper bathroom has no shower liner. The primary bedroom is massive but no dresser and nothing on a giant wall. Toilet paper holders are so far behind you, you need to be a contortionist to use them. Couch upstairs doesn’t lock. Also both couches are filthy/stained. The laminate floors are separating downstairs and creates gaps 1/2 inch wide or more. The stairs are quite literally being held together using masking tape. No hand rail going downstairs. The downstairs unit is a basement so the ceilings are super low. Part of our group had to choose another location because of the head ducking that would undoubtedly end in a goose egg to the forehead. The view and the space in this house make it worthy of a look. If the owner could get a couple new couches, a couple dressers and some basic wall art/mirrors, it could be worth the price. But the age of the decor and poor maintenance make it a silly amount to pay.
