Location is phenomenal - so much is walkable, parking is easy and affordable. The apartment itself is clean and setup well. It felt like a very safe place to stay.A few things to note: it is located directly above a bar that is VERY loud until 2AM. The internet didn't work our entire stay and we were not able to get any feedback from the host, the TV didnt work well and the some areas of the apartment get VERY cold in the winter, so bring layers!

Don’t plan to sleep until 2 AM on weekend

The host was slow to respond or in one case didn’t respond at all. I used the VRBO message app. I had asked if I could checkin early and no response was provided. Host provided clear directions on how to get into the building but not in the apartment. That was really frustrating. Checkin was at 4 pm and I confirm I had gotten no additional emails nor messages at 4:30 pm. So I messaged the host on VRBO, tried VRBO help to get directions to get into apartment. I finally got the instructions at 5 PM. Overall apartment was fine but I didn’t recall the description saying that is was over a bar and next to a nightclub. The beats were thumping and it was very difficult to sleep until it stopped. But if you were a group out until 2 AM then this wouldn’t be a factor.

Stayed for Half Marathon Weekend

We stayed overnight and chose this location because it looked clean and was walkable to all the places we needed. We weren’t aware of the establishment downstairs, which played very loud music for most of the night. The other hard part was the outlets all turned off when you turned off the light switch. Otherwise, the ease of checking in and the location to walk everywhere was great. The property manager was accessible, even while being located in AZ. We’d stay again, but I’d bring a sound machine and some earplugs to drown out the downstairs night music.

4-Day Weekend in Syracuse

Zack was an awesome host, great communication. Super convenient location. Buried in all of the reviews, which I admittedly did not read was that the location is above a bar/restaurant that plays music. We attended a live music venue next door, so it was not an issue with us at all. Thanks Zack!

The location of this condo was fabulous. Never had to drive anywhere for a few days. We were within walking distance to everything. We enjoyed our stay.

Would not Recommend

The location of this rental was not the best. Carrying our luggage up the very steep stairs to get to the front door of the unit was extremely difficult. There was some questionable activity going on at the corner, directly under the window of one bedroom, making it impossible to sleep through the night.

Best and worst part was the location

Best part: walking distance to concert venue, cool restaurants, and shops. Worst part: it was above a bar. The bass was so loud in the evening until 2:00 am that our couch was vibrating.

On top of the party

This was a very nice place We went to dinner at Pastabilities which was right around the corner. We were supposed to be heading to a concert before heading back to our room. But spent the night in the room which ended up right in the heart of the party -it was loud I am not going to lie-right above a bar. I turned on thunderstroms on youtube up to volume 46 so I could fall asleep -it worked!

It was very clean and me and my sister felt very comfortable staying there. The down side was the bar is downstairs so it was pretty loud on our 2nd night. The overall stay was good and will definitely stay again

Overnight stop on the Erie Canal Bikeway

GREAT!! but...

The property is as stated...pics are "doctored up" Nice space, 2 1/2 baths, great neighborhood (lots restaurants & bars, walkable) Noise from bar below is LOUD!! Thought because we were staying there on a weekday that it wouldn't be bad. Closed at 2a, so slept afterwards. Woke at 7a by concrete trucks and workers. Noise was biggest let down

Great Stay for the Price

Owner was accommodating. Place was clean and nice for the price. The entrance was a little off putting but once you get past that, it was good to go. There is a bar downstairs that plays music into the night and morning but we slept through it. The A/C is very smart so we struggled to keep the temperature comfortable through the night. There was a learning curve. I point these things out to give you a heads up but not to take away from the fact that we had a great stay. Good job Scott! We would stay again.

Very clean & centrally located

I booked this for a work trip and appreciated the central location, how clean the apartment is, and quick communication with the host. I do wish I'd paid attention to reviews that noted it's located above a bar, which I think could better suit a friends trip than business travel. Was glad to find good food nearby and to be able to walk almost everywhere I needed.

Great stay in downtown Syracuse

We had a great stay with Zachary in Syracuse. The property was just as listed clean, comfortable and the check-in and checkout process was seamless. We will definitely stay again with Zachary when we return to Syracuse.
