Lovely place to stay

We spent a beautiful holiday in Ortigia (Siracusa), largely because of the right choice of the apartment. As you can see in the pictures the flat is fabolous and it has a very relaxing desing. It is in perfect condition and very clean. The living room is huge and has a quite confortable couch and armchair. It is located right in the city center, only a couple of minutes walk from the seafront and the monuments. It also only a throw stone away from a convenient supermarket, a grocery place and a butcher shop with Sicilian specialities and take away. The owners are lovely, the welcome they gave us was very warm and sincere. They gave us good advice about what to do and where to shop. Don’t miss the puppet theater, specially if you go with children! Thank you Lia and Salvatore.

The property was good overall but does have some some maintenance issues. For eg the aircon wasn’t the best - took a while to get going and didn’t coolthe rooms much, the electric kettle didn’t work and we had to request for it to be replaced. This should’ve been checked. The shower tray in the bathroom kept getting clogged. We were expecting a slightly more functional apartment even though the location was great and the hosts were very nice.

The reception from Salvatore was super nice and helpful - we felt very much welcomed and supported throughout our stay.Also the appartment is a little jewelry with lots of space nice interior and artwork to appreciate. We were just right in the heart of Ortigia - it was lovely

A great apartment in the center of town

The apartment is conveniently located in the center, but is also on a quiet street. The owner was incredibly nice and accommodating. He allowed us to check in early and even came to the bus stop to pick us up and bring us to the apartment. He definitely did not have to do this, and it was much appreciated. The apartment is clean and comfortable and steps away from all the main attraction and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.

Ortigia Apartment in a Perfect Location

The host reserved parking at a garage 2 minutes from the apartment. He met us there and walked us to the apartment which was located steps from everything, including get wine bars, markets, and local's restaurants. The apartment was exactly as described, with creative art decorating the walls. The bed was comfortable and the aparment overall was very spacious, unusually large for Italy. I would stay there again next time we visit Ortigia.

Excellent location in the heart of Ortigia

Super accommodation just a few minutes from the Duomo and the thriving heart of Ortigia. Our host could not have been more helpful, meeting us from the bus and taking us to the apartment. The only problem was leaving at the end of a wonderful four weeks!

Lia's vacation rental was great. Lia was very accessable and was there to greet us. The apartment was very clean, spacious,and nicely appointed. It is situated in the heart of Ortigia in a very walkable neighborhood. A block from Archimedes Square with many restaurants and shops. A real slice of Sicily.

The apartment looks just like the photos, beautiful! The location is perfect. The food everywhere was great, and I highly recommend Gusto if you want to relax at home with some great takeout.

Wonderful Place Fantastic Apartment

The Apartment was wonderful, we met the owner nearby and he took us to the apartment, he showed us everything we needed to know and made some restaurant recommendations (which turned out to be wonderful. The apartment itself was perfectly located for the whole of Ortiga - restaurants, swimming, and a supermarket nearby. Inside the apartment was perfect, it was spotlessly clean and had all the required equipment we needed including air con. It felt like a real home the kitchen was very traditional with freestanding units. The bed was comfy, the shower great and there was lots of storage so we were not ripping over our luggage. A nice aspect was that the apartment was full of original art, and each piece had a tiny QR code so you could read about the art and artist, which is not something you generally get in a holiday apartment. All in all it really could not have been better, if we visit Orrtiga again I would want to stay here.

Lovely and bright space in the heart of Ortigia

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful property for over a week, and it was a great experience. This apartment is very comfortable, filled with light and good energy. The main living area is spacious, and comfortable to relax in. The walls are covered with the artwork of local artists. The bedroom is peaceful and quiet. The a/c in the bedroom and living area works really well, and the internet is strong. We appreciated that there was a small balcony where we could sit and drink wine, and also dry laundry. It was extremely convenient, and if you are a seeker of calm spaces, this is truly it. The hosts were very helpful and gave great local recommendations for restaurants, and even shared the contact info for a great driver to take us to the airport. We would gladly stay in this sweet oasis again.

Comfortable and a great location

The apartment is in a fantastic position close to the main sights and shops. It was also off a courtyard and so was extremely quiet. The apartment is spacious with a comfortable lounge and dining area. We appreciated the kitchen with everything you needed to cook. Having a washing machine provided was great . Lastly the bed was very comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here.

Amazing central location

We had a great stay with our boys (3 & 5), the location is so central. We had to change our transport plans at the last minute and we quickly realised that there was so much to see in the immediate area that we didn't need a car. The apartment is a really good size, especially the living room which is very large. Communication was great and Salvatore was very patient despite our later than expected arrival. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
