My family and I chose this cabin because of the location, price, and number of bedrooms. I was concerned that I would arrive to find that it was too good to be true, but that was not the case. The cabin far exceeded our expectations.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this cabin. It was clean, well labeled, and well stocked with necessities. I love the seclusion the location afforded, although it was close enough to stores that it wasn't an inconvenience to run to Food Lion if we needed something. The driveway is steep, so an AWD or 4WD is recommended.
The cabin has a great open area for the family to gather for meals and conversation, as well as a well-stocked lower level of games. My kids (who range in age from 9 to 16) enjoyed the novelty and variety of the games that were available. Not once did they complain about being bored (which is a feat in and of itself). I also loved that the bedrooms and bathrooms are positioned in such a way that we had our own spaces to revert to when family time became too much. With 8 people in the cabin (4 adults and 4 kids), not once did I feel like we were on top of each other or in each other's way.
Unfortunately, due to time constraints, we didn't get a chance to try out the fire pit. The porch was an enjoyable area to relax, particularly at sunset. As we were leaving, my kids were already asking if we could come back again sometime, this time for a longer stay.
