Peaceful

Great location..very clean house.. everything you need is here.. the beds are so comfortable.. great tv with comfortable lounges.. excellent and very friendly hosts.. they make you so welcome.. we have been coming to patonga school house for 13 years so this is saying something.. we loved it.. the best thing is we can bring our dog Bella.. great area to fish.. swim.. walk around the area and to pearl beach.. bike ride around patonga.. shopping over the hill.. you can catch a ferry to palm beach.. nice place to relax and just chill out.. read a book beside the beach or creek

What a beautiful beach. Very quiet and serene. The Old School House was very peaceful. It was lovely not having to share bathrooms. It was clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen is more than complete. Buy your food before you get to Patonga as there are no shops

Wonderful location and charming house

Location, Location, Location......Wonderful spot and almost next door to The Boathouse restaurant and beach. We stayed with our children and cavoodle and had a lovely time. Communication with our host, Kerry, was excellent - welcoming and responsive.

Paradise

We have been coming to patonga for over the past 50 years so we have seen a lot of changes happen.. we have been bringing our daughters for the last 11 years with our dog Bella she was 3 months old when we 1st stayed at patonga school house.. we haven’t been here since 2018.. we have friends from England living here in Sydney and thought it would be nice to take them to patonga.. well they fell in love with it straight away just like us.. their dog Lolly and Bella loved the beach everyday morning and afternoon runs.. patonga school house is the best accommodation in patonga as we have stayed in a few houses and we always keep coming back to the school house to stay as it’s close to the beach and the pub and the wharf once you park your car you don’t have to moved it again until you leave.. we have bought so many family members and friends to patonga.. we loved the house.. it’s great having 2 bathrooms.. a fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms.. having linen provided is a plus.. we have got the best hosts.. thanks once again for a relaxing 3 day weekend away from the hustle and bustle.. and we will return again with our friends and their dog.. 🐾🐾🏖️❤️

Located in gorgeous Pataonga, the Old School House was quaint and comfortable with a short walk to the beach Patonga creek and The Boathouse. Thank you to our wonderful hosts who made everything easy. We'll be back.

Wonderful stay at P.O.S.H.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, just wish we could have stayed longer. POSH felt like a home away from home. Every room was immaculate, clean and fully equipped. There were even sharp knives. working appliances and everything in the kitchen you could want for. Our grandchildren greatly appreciated all the thoughtful touches. Our dog loved the place and the beach. We had a lovely ferry trip to Palm Beach for lunch. The Boat House restaurant was a bit pricing, but justified by the high quality food and service. The kids lovely the park, gentle beach and shell collecting. The whole experience was wonderful and hosts Kerry and Peter were great to deal with including local tips and info. Our 10yo granddaughter wants move in and my husband says it was the best place I’ve booked.

POSH "Patonga Old School House' was exceptional experience in going back in time staying in the School House. POSH is very quaint, very clean and their thought to provided so many little extras keeping the stay very comfortable Very central for walks, hotel and ferry to go to Palm Beach

Good ambience and nice to live-in but little natural light and terrible yard condition which we understand but was only explained to us the day before we checked-in. As a pet friendly accommodation, the pets had to stay outside in dust and mud.

We had a relaxing stay in a peaceful place.

We enjoyed our stay in the charming Patonga Old School House with its quaint reminders of the past. The accommodation was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We appreciated the comprehensive information provided by the hosts about the practical details of the house and the history of the property. We thought the comfort of future guests could be improved by flyscreens on all the windows. The one jarring note was the smoke detector light that flashed every 45 seconds during the night in the front bedroom and we wondered about the need for this in a space that was otherwise calm and elegant. Nevertheless, we have been recommending the POSH to family and friends and can see ourselves staying there again.

Lovely comfortable and very cosy home.

The overall booking was the easiest I've had to do. Communication with owner was very easy going and a warming experience. There was nothing we needed to bring apart from ourselves and food and drinks. The owner has thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable and homely as possible. Thankyou.

Very comfortable

A delightful, well laid out, well provisioned cottage. It was perfect for our family of 4 and dog. Open plan living - comfy couches, ceiling fans, lots of windows for natural light, great beds, excellent water pressure made for a very comfortable stay. Communications with Kerry was very easy and helpful. Cottage just a block from the beach but still very quiet and private. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Getaway

We had a great time at this pet friendly property. The air conditioning, smart tv and wifi are great updates and improvements to this property. Loved the location and the house was extremely well equipped with everything you could need. We will definitely be back.
