Lovely stay at Maple View
Maple View is a charming property, set in a beautiful garden. The accommodation was perfect for our group, with very attractive decor, and all mod cons. Throughly recommend a stay at Maple Lodge.

Convenient location
Although Matt is away, he has a property manger who attends to us promptly. He also provides a bottle of wine, chocolate and cookies which is a pleasant surprise to us. The property is as described and perfect for only 6 people. Love the fully functional kitchen

Gorgeous garden
Beautiful mountains home set in a gorgeous garden. Birds visited as we sat by the warm fire and enjoyed meals cooked in the chef’s kitchen. A wonderful stay.

Very comfortable and cosy
Our host could not have been more helpful and considerate. All information was provided and in a timely manner. The house was well appointed with all the necessary things and lots of extra comforts. Lovely welcome gifts. Location is beautiful. Can't think of anything that needs improvement for our visit. We'd love to visit again.

Lovely mountain retreat
Our family getaway was a big success given the location, size and privacy of the property. The front and back gardens are a true delight with the many plants, flowers and birds. The kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm. We tried new walking trails in Blackheath which is only 10 mins away. Highly recommend this property!

Perfect in every way
This property was everything my family and I were looking for in a retreat to the Blue Mountains. Every detail was considered, including a beautiful welcome package, that the kids thoroughly enjoyed. The amount of thought, level of care and detail that has been put into making this a home away from home is second to none! The setting of this beautiful home was exactly the kind of peaceful environment you hope to wake when holidaying at the Blue Mountains, with complementary bird food provided to entice the stunning birds surrounding the area. With gorgeously presented gardens at the front and a huge tree lined backyard, the setting couldn't have been more perfect! Matt was the perfect host, easy to reach and readily available. Thank you for having us and we can't wait to return!

Best place to stay in the Blue Mountains!
This was our 2nd time staying at Maple View and everything was perfect. The property is perfectly located midway between Katoomba and Blackheath. Magical Mapleview
From the time we arrived, we were enchanted by Mapleview. The exquisite mountain garden, the beautifully appointed house with homely features, and the generous hamper of local produce made us feel instantly welcomed. One of the highlights of our stay was waking up to birdsong and feeding the cockatoos, rosellas and mountain lorikeets. This was our second stay here and it was just as good, if not better, than our first! We’re looking forward to returning to Mapleview again soon. :)

Maple View is a beautiful property. We stayed a week and it rained for half the time so to stay at Maple View was a blessing. The lounge room has amazing views of the garden and birds that visit. I cannot speak more highly of the care and attention that has been paid to both the garden and the interior of the home. The kitchen is modern and well stocked. If you stray here make sure you do the Grand Canyon walk from Evans Lookout. It's a standout and one of the best the blue mountains has to offer. Matt communicated promptly and made our stay extra special. Thank you.

Magical Oasis - must stay
Everything was perfect. From Matt's communication to the variation of pillows to all the small details - everything so stunning yet cosy. The gardens are magical and fairy like. It felt like a home to chill out in and allowed the opportunity to feel both comfortable and content in your surroundings. The large windows invited you to your own nature show and gave you the chance to enjoy the outdoors in. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you are looking for a reason to visit the blue mountains, then this is it.

warm, inviting, calm place to stay
Arriving at the property, there is the beautiful garden on the right, and the house in front of you. The setting was peaceful and well presented. The key was easy to find, and upon opening the door, we were greeted by a warm, inviting, clean and uncluttered space. The blinds were up so we could see the back yard and the beautiful tree towering over the deck. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses, containers and cookware. The additional touches of providing plenty of dishwasher tablets, dish liquid, and cooking oil were a blessing. The Welcome to Maple View book was helpful - especially for lighting the fire and to tell me that I could feed the birds with birdseed provided on the kitchen shelf. The numerous glass doors and windows gave us a vantage to see the garden and birds from the warmth of the lounge room. This also provided lots of natural lighting. The best spot to sit on a cold morning is the red chair - the sun hits it and warms it up nicely. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds are comfortable and warm. The garden is a beautiful, calm and colourful. I enjoyed wandering through it and seeing the cold weather plants thriving. I'd give this place 10 out of 10 for value, location, serenity, comfort, and warmth. I couldn't have asked for more. Thanks.

Fabulous stay- great amenities and location
Matt was a great host - wonderful communication, so helpful and we were delighted with the generous welcome gifts and info pack that he had provided at the house upon our arrival. The house was easily warmed with plenty of heaters and electric blankets - so important as it was a freezing weekend! And the kids loved the garden, birdlife and enjoyed the board games that were at the house for them to play with. Kitchen and bathrooms were all very clean, functional and everything was easy to use - we'd definitely recommend a stay and plan on returning ourselves

Perfectly appointed cottage away from the bustle
Well appointed contemporary cottage in an established garden. A cold snap hit the day before we arrived, but with a fireplace, gas heating, electric oil heaters, electric blankets and heat lamps in the bathrooms, we were cosy and snug. The owner was always available on his mobile if we needed to contact him. A detailed (and very user friendly) compendium awaits, with simple instructions for how to use the coffee machine, dishwasher, feed the birds etc, as well as recommendations for breakfast / lunch / dinner. Medlow bath is an 8 minute drive to Katoomba or Blackheath, and so is out of the hustle and bustle of town centres.

Peace, comfort and beautiful gardens
We had a wonderful stay at Maple View. All amenities were provided. The home was beautifully presented and the fireplace worked a treat in the cold climate. The beds were a joy, comfortable and toasty warm with the electric blankets. The gardens was stunning particularly the Japanese Maples that were showing off their Autumn colour during our stay. Perfect!
Maple View is the perfect holiday home. It’s located in a quiet area yet close to everything the Blue Mountains offer. The home is beautifully presented with attention to detail that surpasses any holiday home we have stayed in. Weekend getaway
Matt's place is located perfectly for a weekend getaway in the Megalong Valley! The house is clean and beautiful with great amenities. Peaceful luxurious retreat
This property is very special. We absolutely relished the peace, tranquility and beauty of the sprawling grounds and beautifully landscaped gardens. Spring blossoms were in bloom and we had cockatoos and rosellas regularly visiting in nearby trees & bird houses. Matt, our generous host, was a pleasure to deal with, gave excellent instructions and always responded quickly and courteously to any queries. We were thrilled to receive a wonderful box of goodies & complementary wine as a welcome gift! This home is beautifully decorated and immaculate, with luxurious bedding & a perfectly equipped kitchen, with every appliance you could need - I particularly loved the KitchenAid Nespresso machine! Would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious retreat in the Blue Mountains. Would come back again in a heart beat.

Beautiful, relaxing & perfectly appointed.
We stayed as a group of 6 adults. It was exactly what we hoped for. We cooked in both nights, and enjoyed each other’s company around the fire. The house is very clean & comfortable, highly recommend it. The only downside was that we lost free to air Tv channels, our husbands love to watch the footy so it was a bit disappointing. Our host was lovely & these things unfortunately do happen. Aside from this small hiccup I would most definitely book this sanctuary again.

After a very long trip from Sydney, due to Traffic, our stress levels dropped to 0 at the Gate of Maple View. A beautiful Serene Property, the gardens were breaking with the Spring blossom and bulbs, and it was a feast on the eyes and the smells of Spring drew in on each breath. We went inside, to a beautifully designed Home, with the garden vista,s throughout, the most wonderful gourmet kitchen, which put to rest eating out, a delight to cook in and the huge wonderful oven. A bright light dining and lounge area, with simple but divine comfortable furnishings, and the fireplace, was a dream We had a misty first day with low temperatures, so we could light the fire, which just added to the magic of the mist outside. Three bedrooms upstairs, the Monster King bed was fabulous, as our 3-year little person decided he wanted to sleep with Mama, so all 3 fitted comfortably! Nanee had the middle room, and Son and partner the 3rd all the beds were comfy. Every wardrobe, had a heater, extra blankets, and all beds electric blankets, so for winter, I am sure you would only need light-weight clothing! To be greeted by a beautiful Box of delights and champagne in the fridge was just the finishing touch to this absolutely beautiful property, perfect location, and just the medicine, for a Tranquil break from our stressful lives, and my daughter finishing her Chemotherapy. Perfect Family Mountains Escape
Our family had a wonderful stay at Medkow Bath! The home was cozy and warm on arrival with great facilities and gorgeous garden outlook. We enjoyed the proximity to the Grand Hydro Majestic Hotel where we walked a couple of times for coffees and to sit and enjoy the ambience and amazing views accross the valley. Historic townships and attractions such as Katoomba and the Jenolan caves were also within an easy drive to make a fantastic family getaway. Thanks you!

Our stay here was perfect. The home has everything you need and more.
This is a beautiful little home to get away to. The small details that have been thought of throughout the home make it really special. We really loved it here.

My husband and I stayed at Maple View for 4 nights last week. The house very warm, cosy, comfortable and incredibly quiet. It has just about everything you need or want for a wonderful stay. There were board games to play, books and magazines to read, a throw to snuggle up with and DVD's to watch if you could draw yourself away from the view. It is beautifully furnished and has such an awesome kitchen with everything you need to cook and eat in - even a drinks fridge! We were very touched by the thougthful things that were awaiting us - a lovely welcome pack filled with yummy treats, a bottle of bubbly in the fridge and a great compendium with information about the house, surrounding area, places to visit and grab a bite to eat. The house is set on lovely grounds filled with beautifully cared for gardens. The Autumn colours were amazing. The outlook from the kitchen/dining/living room was so beautifully relaxing and peaceful and we were treated by visits to the gardens from kookaburras, rosellas and magpies every day. It is a great base for exploring the upper Blue Mountains and beyond. We look forward to staying again.

Stunning chalet located in peaceful surrounds within the heart of the Blue Mountains
My family and I stayed 2 nights at Maple View Blue Mountains in the month of April 2019. Maple View as it is conveniently located in the heart of the Blue Mountains between the villages of Leura / Katoomba and Blackheath. Upon arrival at Maple View, we were impressed by the peaceful surrounds and complete privacy of the property. The gardens on the property are well established, with mature trees and beautiful plants, and an abundance of birdlife. Once we stepped inside, we were also impressed with the immaculate presentation of the home. There was a gift box containing complimentary chocolates, marshmallows, pringles, along with a Maple View bag and Blue Mountains guide (where all the planning had been completed for us). Further, there was a complimentary bottle of champagne in the fridge (ready to drink) and beautiful bunch of flowers welcoming us to Maple View. Maple View has a large range of modern amenities, including fireplace, large oven and double door fridge, seperate wine fridge, BBQ, as well as Board Games, large SmartTV and complimentary Wifi. There was detailed instructions to help us easily operate all the appliances, as well as the fire place. We chose to dine at the nearby Wintergarden restaurant at the historic Hydro Majestic on our first night. The Wintergarden restaurant is fine dining at its best, along with an incredible view over the Megalong Valley. The second night we choose to cook at home, play boardgames (which was supplied), and then retire to the lounge to relax by the fireplace. During our visit, we were able to visit many of the sites including Scenic World, 3 Sisters Lookout, Govetts Leap Lookout, Leura Village and Blue Mountains Botanical Gardens. We look forward to staying at Maple View again soon, and we would not hesitate to recommend anyone staying at this stunning chalet in the heat of the Blue Mountains.
