Hi Clara As you know we live in the Blue Mountains and part of the World Heritage National Park. The rain you experienced during your stay was unprecedented and extremely heavy, and was the only reason you had these tiny little (non harmful) millipedes come in. We have screens on our windows and have an expensive door screen (which we note was damaged) and now needs repairing. I saw you on the second morning and asked how things were going? 'And were you enjoying your stay' and you said yes!!!! That was the opportunity to let us know so we could have taken more immediate action. We did however, when the rain stopped momentarily and when you went out, spray the whole of the exterior. We have been operating for 8 years and have never had such a negative review. In fact as you will see, all of our reviews are kind, honest and our hundreds of guests have loved their stay and appreciate the fact that we provide thoughtful extras for our guest's comfort. We've had weddings, anniversaries, baby moons and people who just want a beautiful and romantic getaway. I might note too that the studio was not left clean or tidy. Dirty dishes, cutlery and glasses were left in the sink and it definitely was not left in the state you found it! When we get a review like this it is very disappointing, given the love and effort we put into providing a spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated studio with comfort and luxury top of mind for our valued guests. hey Warwick There is ample parking right outside your studio. and literally 5 steps from your accommodation. We actually didn’t want you parking on the building site but thought right outside your studio would be perfect and convenient for you both.
