Stayed there a couple of days when me and my family were visiting Sydney. My parents are really not used to live in backpackers hostels but since this place was the only one available we didn't have much of a choice. From reading other peoples reviews, I was expecting a really shabby hostel with a lot of junkies but I was actually quite nice. It was easy getting there from the airport since it's close to the Kings Cross station. The hostel is located in a red light district, but we didn't notice it that much since the hostel is located in a lane (and when you walk in to Sydney CBD you don't pass through the street with the porn shops.) It's close to the Royal Botanical Garden and the Opera House so if you're just there to see the city and don't want to spend a lot of money on a hotel, this is a perfect place to live. We stayed in two double rooms and they were quite okay (really okay to be a hostel at this price). The breakfast was simply just toast, marmalade, milk and some corn flakes, nothing fancy (but regarding that is was included in the price it was actually pretty ok). The man in the reception was really nice and helpful! The only negative I have to say was that even though that it was supposed to be quiet after 10 pm people were really loud and ran around in the hallway.
