Ideal getaway in North Bondi

Michael was a gracious host and this apt was conveniently located next to a wonderful cafe (SHUK), as well as bus lines into Bondi, Bondi Junction and downtown Sydney. Bondi beach is a leisurely, short walk. I would absolutely book this apt again.

Great stay with Michael. The unit was perfect for our needs, we were out from morning till night, so didn't spend a huge about of time there, kettle and coffee machine to give us our kick in the morning. Lovely little outdoor area. Would recommend and stay again in a heartbeat.

Michael was fantastic from the moment we booked his place. He provided constant communication and actually did some research on car rentals for me. He was super during our entire 3 week stay. He met us as soon as we got there and checked on us the next day that everything as good and throughout our stay I highly recommend this place it is so close to Bondi Beach, shopping and public transportation. When we return to Australia we will definitely stay here again. Michael and Gill are the true meaning of Super Hosts!!!

Hidden gem

Michael is a wonderful host, it was very easy to communicate with him. The location of the apartment is wonderful, very quiet and walking distance from the beach and cafes. It was also close to bus stop in case you don’t feel like walking all the time. the unit has all the kitchen appliances you will ever need, including coffe machine and kettle. Overall it was a 10/10 for me. Hope you will enjoy it as much as I did :)

Great Bondi stay

Wonderful place to stay within a short walk of all the amenities of Bondi beach. Michael is a very attentive and helpful host. We would definitely stay there again if in that area again

Perfect Getaway!

Michael’s place is the perfect spot for a getaway to Sydney. It is in a wonderful location, close to some great cafes and a short walk to the main strip in Bondi. Michael was so welcoming and helpful, right through from when we booked online until we checked out. We highly recommend staying here. We will be back!

North Bondi escape

Convenient studio room away from the frenzy of Bondi but still within reach of the beach and an easy bus-ride from Bondi Junction and the city. Michael is an attentive host and if 65 access steps are a problem, a small funicular is available. Only shame is that there is no view once you have reached your room!

Great stay..could not have been better

I would recommend Mr. Cohn as a host everyday. He was superb. He helped us figure out getting our laundry done since we had been on vacation for 14 days already. He helped us with Opal cards and suggested places to eat that were excellent. We got to visit a bit and he is very good company. A perfect place to stay. The room is very adequate in size and the bed firm. There are amenities there to be used and the place was very clean. I can't say it enough but we had a great stay here and if we ever get to come back we hope we can stay here again.

A wonderfully relaxing two nights in this beautifully maintained fully equipped studio. Michael was a great host, welcoming and helpful. The studio is within walking distance to the beach and Bondi village and public transport to the city makes getting around easy....no need to use your car!

Serene & comfortable location in beautiful North Bondi

Perfect location to explore lovely Sydney & the coastal beach towns. Host Michael is attentive, friendly & helpful. I spent 5 days exploring downtown Sydney (ferries are a great way to get there!), Bondi Beach to Coogee, Paddington, & Manly. Studio & courtyard are quiet, modern & comfortable, & views from the front of the house are stunning. The neighborhood is safe & fun, with all amenities nearby. Highly recommend for singles or couples, & I hope to return sometime soon!

What a gem!

Michael runs a very polished, professional and personalised place. The unique studio space was fabulous for our weekend base in Sydney with a car. We were made to feel super welcome and well looked after. The Inclinator up to the studio apartment was a real blessing and absolute treat for my nephew to experience. Michael couldn't have been more accommodating or helpful, before and during our stay. The apartment was comfy and clean, the shower is amazing, and walking round the corner of the apartment to the incredible view of Bondi was a highlight every morning. We wouldn't hesitate to come back!

Terrific Bondi Beach Views in great Neighborhood Location

This was our first trip to Sydney and we booked this lovely studio for five nights based on the other great guest reviews of the property, the location and of Michael, our host. Our expectations were exceeded! We were greeted by Michael, on arrival, who provided us with Opal Cards that can be used on all transit in Sydney. He was very helpful with our questions and provided suggestions on sight seeing and getting around Sydney. One very memorable day there was based on Michael’s suggestion to take the ferry to Watson Bay and then on to Manly Beach. We may not have gone otherwise and so glad we did - for the views from the ferry of Sydney Harbor and time spent at Manly Beach was terrific! Michael provided us with some basic amenities for the studio to get us started - coffee, milk, etc. The studio also exceeded our expectations. It was private also everything was very clean and new - bathroom, kitchenette, nice writing desk. Also, table and chairs on a porch - all behind his larger home - so seemed very private. For those interested in seeing the North Bondi Beach neighborhood, this is a great place to stay. Bus service is frequent, and it is just a few short blocks from Bondi Beach yet private and far enough away so that it is quiet at night - in a neighborhood of lovely homes and condos. There are also a multitude of coffee shops, small groceries and restaurants within walking distance. With the frequent bus and ferry service, we were able to get around Sydney very easily. We highly recommend this special place to anyone interested in staying in Sydney in a lovely neighborhood with a very congenial host. Dean and Christine G.
