"Excellent B&B in a great setting with super friendly and professional staff. The room was very well looked after, it was in pristine condition and had all of the amenities we needed. Convenient parking right outside, and the best breakfast I've ever had at a B&B - A selection of cereals, fruit and yogurt, freshly baked pastry, juices, tea and coffee and a delicious cooked option. "3 night stay over Easter. Pub was clean and comfortable although bed mattress was very firm which meant disturbed sleep for stay. Owners very welcoming. Breakfast was 8-9am which I felt was a little early as we usually like to have a lazy wake up without having to have alarm on so wasnt as relaxing as we would have liked. "the hotel has recently changed hands and so is in somewhat a state of flux and thus in need of improvement. Likewise the buildings are in need of repair. My room was clean and tidy, though without air conditioning on one of the hottest days of the year took some time to cool down to allow sleep. I wasn't prepared with a costume in order to enjoy the pool. The barman was helpful and chatty and the abbot ale was welcome. It was, for the price paid, perfectly reasonable value for money.
