"What a beautiful place to stay!!! We loved the spacious living room and kitchen area that had plenty of seating and awesome views of the water. "Had a very relaxing stay. The only reason for four stars on the location was it was so far from everything. That could also be a plus, but we were not prepared for it and had to make a couple of 60 mile round-trips into Bay City. I was amped about all of the positive fishing reviews, but alas, the wind, and all of the rain made the fish scarce. "We had a great stay at Little Salt. We are a tall couple with a 6' grandson, but we had enough space in the well-planned tiny house. It was great to fish from the back yard and we even took a little time to visit the beach. The community is very friendly and we felt safe. Be sure to do your grocery shopping before you get there. "This property did not disappoint! Very clean and well stocked. Views of the river are nice and kids enjoyed watching the boat traffic throughout the day and the place is very calm and peaceful throughout the day, especially in the mornings and evenings. We only wished it had a dock to fish from or maybe just some rod holders attached to the bulkhead to allow for a bit more convenient fishing in the river but that’s not worthy of a deduction on the review!
