I highly recommend this property. My family of eight had a great time! The home was clean, well stocked with linen and cooking utensils. It is spacious and has enough bathrooms where you never had to wait. The pool was a little cool but the owner sent someone to correct this in a very timely matter. Kudos to him. There was never a dull moment with the amenities provided. We had pool table rivalries. Family hot tub and fire pit talks and swimming pool volleyball game until 4:15 a.m. on Christmas Day. The house is located a short distance from a movie theatre and Walmarts for all your shopping needs in addition to a beverage store for adults :). Blackwater State Park, which has the longest sled run on the East coast is only about a hour away. What a blast! Definitely will return.

The host was very welcoming and the property was as pictured. The problem was that none of the beds were comfortable. Matress pads that moved and futons that were uncomfortable for adults to sleep on put a damper on our stay.

This home was perfect meeting spot for our family of 3 generations (6 adults and 5 children - ages 14 months to 7 years) to spend a long weekend. The location was perfect and the pool was a huge selling point when we booked it. It was enjoyed every day by the kids and adults. The hot tub and firepit were also nice considering we stayed in October. The pickleball courts and mini golf were just steps away and lots of small sunfish were caught (and released) in the pond which is a 2 minute drive from the property. The description of the house was very accurate and was very spacious for our family of 11. We would definitely stay there again if we make a return trip to Deep Creek Lake! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

The house was beautiful! We loved the pool and hot tub. There were a few issues that I addressed with the owner and she was very helpful in resolving all of them - except one - in a timely manner. Unfortunately the people that rented the house prior to our stay did not respect the property and left a huge mess. The cleaning ladies were awesome and came right to the house and cleaned everything for us. They were very apologetic and explained to us that they did everything they possibly could to make the home presentable for us. We definitely want to go back to this property next year! It was very convenient and met all of our needs!I would love to speak to someone from Vrbo or the owner directly regarding the one issue that was not resolved at the beginning of our stay.

Listing is not accurate at all. The house is in need of serious repairs. Some amenities listed are broken or missing at this point. It was not cleaned properly before our arrival. And the hot tub was totally disgusting and hadn't been cleaned for almost 2 weeks before us. There is clear water damage and the smell of mold. Lighting flickers, linens stained. AC worked well.

Perfect for family fun!

The property was fantastic! We had 6 adults and 5 kids ranging from 3-8 and felt like we had plenty of space. It was great having the mini golf and tennis courts right next to the house. The indoor pool was great and bigger than expected. The 9 hole par 3 links style course was absolutely amazing and was well kept, with holes ranging from 80 yards to 180 yards. Greens run slower but the conditions were great. House is about 5 mins from Deep Creek State Park and 20 minutes to Swallow Falls. Also enjoyed the huge yard and fire pit while watching the sunsets. I would definitely return in the future!

Weekend away

Despite the weather, we had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean. The views were amazing and makes you feel secluded. It was the perfect location. The only thing I could say is we wish the indoor pool was a little warmer but we still made the best of it. Would absolutely stay again!!

Overall the experience was good… it was out first time at this property and we go to Deep Creek at least 2 times a year. Some of the amenities need updated…. The foose ball was broken. The air hockey table was broke. And no useable pool sticks for either pool table. The mixer in the kitchen did not work. The dryer would not dry out clothes until my husband pulled it out and cleaned the vent hose. The back deck was so dirty and overgrown we had to sweep the dirt and moss off it to keep from tracking it into the hot tub.

Family vacation

We take our children and grandchildren to DC Lake every summer. We try different homes and different areas. We were very pleased with the home and the layout. The pool was a huge hit, and the mini golf and tennis courts were right next to us. The boys enjoyed golf and fishing at the pond, which was very well stocked. We would stay again

overall the location was great,some items listed weren`t provided, iron, futon and computer in loft.House wasnt handicap acessiable, steps leading out to hot tub was too steep, lighting very deem,fire pit by hot tub has a hole at the bottom causing itims to fall out.The property needs alot of updating.

Great memories were made

6 adults and 6 children were in attendance and we were so glad we found this property! The pool was definitely the main factor we choose this rental. The kids were in it every chance they got. The house is huge and sleeping arrangements were no problem at all. We all got to enjoy the golf course, mini golf, tennis courts, the fishing spot, the hot tub, but mostly the pool. Our only minor complaint was we couldn't find the crock for the crock pot. Would definitely recommend for a large group. Our 5 day stay was great, we all had a blast!

Family fun at the lake!

Things we liked: Responsive hosts - ac fixed in the evening with a new filter. Instructions to close up clarified Lots of family activities Everyone enjoyed the pool Space for both family and alone time Second fridge in garage Close to deep creek state park Meadow view Lots of wildlife Covered deck Seating for groups for dinner Sufficient linens and towels Showers in good working order Nice pool table Nice sofa with adjustable headrests Lots of bathrooms Liked the free golf Good wifi A few glitches but overall a good family gathering spot. Bring your own paper products, blankets, swim gear. Putt putt, free golf (bag carry only), tennis/pickle ball, swimming, campfires and spaces to both connect and disconnect.

The perfect getaway

Beautiful property inside and out, clean and well maintained, stocked up kitchen, lots of extra amenities, in a calm neighborhood, and just a short 10-15 minute drive to activities. The indoor pool was a huge bonus. Matti, the manager was very nice and accommodating. Definitely plan to come back. Thank you Matti!

Just a little disappointed

I stayed here in 2014 with extended family and was excited to stay again this year when we found it available. the place was exactly as I remembered, beautiful and spacious - loved the pool and hottub, but there were some details that left a lot to be desired. there is some wear and tear throughout the house that needs attention. also we had planned to have friends over to watch the Super Bowl. THANKFULLY we cancelled because we were not feeling well, as we would have been very embarrassed how the tv kept freezing and glitching and the few of us there ended up watching in one of the bedrooms. Also, one of the two beds in the upstairs corner rooms was missing, but luckily no one extra ended up staying. So, overall - a beautiful home that needs some TLC. The host was great at communicating with us, and one of the things she couldn't possibly control is the noise level in the area. We didnt mind the cute family right next door, however someone in the area was playing music so loud at 2 am that we thought they were on our porch or in the hottub. it ended up being across the way and with no noise ordinance, there was nothing that could be done about it. I personally prefer a more private secluded place when paying so much for a rental Just my 2 cents.

House needs a deep cleaning

This house needs a thorough deep cleaning, especially the kitchen area. The house layout was not as expected, we thought from the pics that there was a family room below the main level but it was all on the main level. The bedroom on the main floor was really not a bedroom, it was an extension off the family room with a sliding room divider. The host was very accessible and replied timely to some issues we had with the pool.

Fam Reunion

The property had a great location, however, both inside and outside need some TLC, The living area was great and and the side porch was great for relaxing. We had 6 children over the age of 4 so there were no appropriate glasses and they didn’t understandably want to use toddler cups. We had exactly 12 plates so it was a constant dishwashing.

Perfect for the family!

Upon arrival our family was just blown away by the home! The kitchen was perfect for making our family of 12 meals. There was plenty of space for each of us to have our own bedroom and bathroom. The outdoor patio and deck were lovely to have coffee on and have a fire in the evening. Our children so enjoyed the games in the garage, the mini golf next door, and the quietness of the neighborhood so they could ride their bikes to their hearts delight! The kitchen was stocked with plenty of utensils and dishes and appliances. If you think you need to bring it - think again they have it! The state park was a quick drive down the road and there was a lovely self serve firewood stand so we could stick for the evening. The pool was an added plus for us to swim around in the evenings! The alarm for the pool was added saftey and peace of mind for our kids who could have swam all night. The hot tub is placed nicely on the back patio but was not incredibly clean and smelled a little funky but still enjoyable. Look no further, this is the perfect rental for your family!

Great Family Time

The house was nice and spacious. Great location. Everyday we went for an enjoyable walk. The amenities were family friendly. I would stay there again. The downside-the cleaning people did not do a good job. But the owner was very responsive.

Wonderful weekend with large family.
