This place was absolutely amazing and just what our family needed. I’m so thankful I found this place and I will be booking again. The only thing I would say is that there needs to be a ladder for the dock but other than that, it was absolutely perfect! I had everything you needed and was close to everything!

Lakeview and fire pit was great. Beautiful sunsets. Kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils needed. Close to Deep Creek Park.

Memory making accommodations

We loved, loved, loved our visit to Pee Wee Acres!!! A comfortable house with a backyard right on the water. Awesome views of the lake and sunset. We hope to return next year for another wonderful vacation.

This was the most relaxing vacation we’ve ever taken. The house was very comfortable and being right on the lake kept the kids busy. The house is basic in amenities, but worth the cost for the location for sure. My whole family agreed this is replacing the beach as our go to in the future.

Lakeside getaway

Location was perfect. We appreciated the fresh towels and bedding. Kitchen was well stocked. The only issue was the musty smell throughout the house. Fans don’t help much. Nothing really effected out stay, but it’s in much need of TLC

A woman's week

Beautiful view , great fire pit. We enjoyed the cabin. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Fresh linens on the bed. Fresh towels. Cabin had a strong musty smell we used the fan that were provided and air fresheners. Any call we made about a problem , they did there best to rectify it. Thank you for a great week.

Needs serious quality control

Location is nice. Pictures are relatively accurate. However, there are quite a few pests to deal with. Also, there is no cooling for temperature control, only heating. Also, the sink and dishwasher drains both clogged, and despite multiple maintenance requests, no repairs were made. With better facilities and quality control, this property would be a lot better received.

Charming rustic atmosphere. Great Lakeview and beautiful sunsets. Kitchen well stocked with cooking items needed. Very disappointed though in the cleanliness of home. Very musty smell noted. Front entry screen door broken and about to fall apart at the bottom and back door screen with rubber holding screen in off hanging. Tried to fix to keep the bugs and flies out. Did notify Vacasa of these issues.Few cobwebs noted in home above ceiling fan in dining area and above couch also. Especially in the corners. Also had trouble with lock on front door getting to accept the ten digit code. Finally worked after several attempts. Firepit nice close to lake. Enjoyed overall stay for the price. Place just needs some tender loving care.

The furniture and bedding were relatively new and in good condition; there were/are new floors throughout the house. However, it did not appear as though anyone had actually dusted or done a deep clean in some time; we ran the dishes and glassware through the dishwasher before using. I would add that even though the kitchen and not been updated for years (the cabinets could benefit from a cleaning and a coat of paint inside and outside), there was a nice assortment of utensils and cookware -- we cooked all of our meals so that was a real plus.Things could be bumped up a notch by adding a shelf or two in the bathrooms just to have a place for a toothbrush.The outdoor space was delightful however, the house is listed as sleeping 6 adults but there were only 2 outdoor chairs; fortunately, we brought canvas chairs and were able to sit around the fire pit and truly enjoy the lake. A note should be added in the "things you need to bring" for chairs.

Great Lake Escape

Pee Wee Acres was a great escape from our daily lives and a wonderful place for our family to meet and catchup with each other. The dock is wonderful for sitting and drinking a morning cup of coffee. The lake was a little busy but it was the fourth of July week so we actually expected it to be busier. Even with it being a busy vacation week the property was very peaceful and quiet. Our Furry Family member Trinity loved jumping into the lake from the dock, the rest of the family did as well. When we first arrived Vacase property management was finishing up a repair from the last guest. They were friendly, very professional and on the whole a plessure to deal with as a guest. One the whole I would definitely recommend Pee Wee acers to families and people with Furry Family memebers.

Just what we needed!

This is a rustic vacation home that has a lake front access with dock and location was perfect for our family. We needed a place to eat and rest our heads at night after being out all day. The wifi was also excellent. The only thing we had to juggle was timing of showers since there is only one shower. Although, the water has good presurre and gets hot quick. Also, the front door is tough to open and close. It’s like the door is leaning towards the handle and you have to pull it back towards the hinges to ipen and close it. We would definitely stay here again. BTW - i tried to give zero stars for the property manager because I never spoke to one. Everything was handled through the vacasa app or via text/email. Therefore, I gave it 4 out of 5 stars since I didn’t have to speak to anyone and having everything digital made it rather simple.

Best Location

We have been staying at Pee Wee Acres since 2018 and you can’t beat the backyard/private dock/location (no crossing the road to get to the lake). The new flooring and windows were much appreciated this year! The kitchen and bathroom are dated, so if you’re looking for modern luxury, this is not the place for you. But it does have all the amenities you need to enjoy your stay! We do bring extra fans with us as there is no AC, but the place stays comfortable without it. My only complaints are I apparently forgot how uncomfortable the beds are and the latch on the garbage can cage was broken. This resulted in animals getting into the full trash twice and me having to clean up the woods and road. I did send an email to notify the agency of the broken latch, so hopefully that will be fixed soon so someone else doesn’t have to deal with that mess. Otherwise, I definitely recommend the place if you’re looking for a reasonably priced stay with the perfect location!
