The staff/owner went out of his way to meet and greet due to a late arrival, very good, the young people were from Spain and very were very happy.

Friendly staff and a good location
The person on reception when we checked in was very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and the beds were comfortable. The showers were good. Unfortunately other people were not considerate and the kitchen was a total mess when we went to use it in the morning, despite signs asking for dishes to be washed. We could only find one spoon, clean or dirty - but not the fault of management.

I think with Backpackers accommodation, one should not expect luxury. However, when you pay a significant amount for a room, and have a room with two singles beds pushed together, a shelving unit, and a small couch - that is a bit steep! No bed linen, just the bare basics. I would have expected more for that price. Also, I booked a room online and was given another. The room I had booked via Expedia had been given to somebody else. Overall, an average stay.

Over priced for a shared dorm room. Heaps of security cameras without any signs. If the host focused more on having a presentable place and repairing things that are broken instead of smoking pot and getting cash from visitors wanting a shower I am sure it would be a great place to stay. You can camp there and if I had of known that is what I would have done.

Has great potential - located in a cluster of services and with an interesting layout and a diversity of room formats. However, it is rundown and dirty. Toilets not working, BBQ not working, fridges struggling to cope, kitchen grubby, stoves out of the ark and not enough toilets. Disappointing - could be so much better, and wouldn't take much to fix it.

Ageing quickly, but decent stay
It is a new place, age ING rapidly due to not the best upkeep. Yellowed sheets, grubby rugs. On other hand, price was right and good place to stay before Maria Island. Don’t be put off, nothing terribly wrong (or right) about the place.

Helt ok
Helt ok ställe. Dock var det mkt grisigt i köket och ingenstans att nå personal. Snabb incheck men lika snabbt försvann personal. Utan toapapper i toaletten. Du bädda din egen säng. Helt ok att bo på trots allt.

Affordable but there is never anyone at the office, which makes check in a little more complicated. It’s reasonably clean but little things like lack of toilet paper in one of the restrooms and no climate control in room make it less desirable

I arrive early on a rainy afternoon cold from cycling. I'm given a paper pass code and directed to a single room booked in advance. I find my allotted room is not only dark and the bed unmade but it has no heating. I choose not to stay as I need to get warm: there was no heating. I explain and request refund saying it does nnot meet my expectations. I am told no heating is advertised on Wotif, nor are the beds advertised as made in advance. My refund is refused but I leave anyway. Find a lovely room in town with a seaview for only a few dollars more.

Siedettävä majapaikka yhden yön pysähdykselle
Majoituimme yhden yön ajan 4 hengen huoneessa, joka oli hyvin pelkistetty ja nuhjuisen oloinen. Oleskelutila oli kolkko ja sen valaistus oli huono. Vessat olivat ok mutta suihkut likaiset. Olemme reissanneet monissa hostelleissa mutta tämä oli kyllä yksi huonoimmista kokemuksista. Hinta-laatusuhde oli siis melko huono. Yöpyminen täällä toimi yhdeksi yöksi ihan ok mutta en olisi halunnut pidemmäksi aikaa edes jäädä. Täältä on lyhyt matka (noin tunnin ajomatka) Freycinet National parkiin, joten se on ainoa plussa tässä paikassa.

We arn't backpackers so it was a big difference for us going to a backpackers, but some of the backpackers left the community kitchen in quite a mess with food lying around everywhere. But we enjoyed our room and the price was quite cheap.

Low-life and overpriced!
When we arrived, the staff checked us in, but were never seen again until the next morning, when someone cleaned the kitchen. There were signs posted regarding charges that would be imposed if the staff was contacted after a certain hour, 8:00 I believe. The women's toilet had no toilet paper in one stall and this remained the case until we left at 9:00 the next morning.The kitchen and common area were dirty, but this was due to the clientele more than the staff. Most people did not clean up thoroughly. Two guys slept on the couches in the common area- don't know if this was approved. Our double room was reasonably clean, with fresh sheets and towels. Wifi was only available in the common area. Overpriced, we thought!

Cleanliness is poor throughout, especially in the bathrooms. The sole staff member did not make any effort to make us feel welcome.

Nettes Hostel, Coole Kapseln
Cool war, dass mir statt eines normalen 4 Bettzimmers eine ihrer neuen "Kapseln" angeboten wurde. Zwar sich in einem größeren Zimmer, aber man hatte in diesem eine kleine, abgeschottete Kabine mit Beleuchtung, Vorhang und 2 USB Anschlüssen und somit einen Rückzugsort und Privatsphäre. Im Hostel an sich war das nötigste vorhanden, lediglich der CheckIn war etwas langwierig und es kam zunächst niemand .

I enjoyed my stay, slept in the capsule room, very comfortable, My only suggestion is to make the capsule room a little more sound proof, it sounded like the tv and people in the main room were standing right in front of me....so noise was an issue for me.

Thought we'd mix it up abut and stay at a backpackers. It was good experience...but the only negative would be there was no soap in the communal bathroom which is not acceptable in my view

Lounge,kitchen,dinning area are spacious and clean. Staff is friendly and easy to talk with. Convenient location right next to the town museum, restaurant and bakery.
