"Location and look of hotel were super. Dinner was excellent on each night of my stay, staff friendly and helpful, bed linen and towels spotless. However, the room and bathroom felt a little uncared for. I had to make my bed each day and neither the room or bathroom were cleaned during my 3 night stay, ditto china cups for tea/coffee. "Lovely clean and tidy hotel. The rooms look refurbished and were spotless. We had the family room which was bigger than we were expecting. Two separate bedrooms and a bathroom. The staff were pleasant. Parking plentiful. Breakfast (eggs, hash browns, beans, sausages, bacon etc.) was included. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants/shops. Perfect for our stay."

"The overall stay at Purbeck House was okay. We had a very interesting mini tour with Alex. Our room was on two levels and very spacious . It would have benefitted from some artwork on the walls. Also, a proper bathmat. I nearly slipped over getting out of the bath as the textured surface is small. The shower gel bottles are a waste of time. They are very small and it was difficult to actually squeeze the gel out. Considering the price I would have expected bottled water. There was a wedding on...
