This was one of our favorite places we stayed on our trip. Very new and elevated hotel. Definitely the best complimentary breakfast we had on the whole trip, it also had a beautiful view which was an added bonus. Beds were comfy, bathroom was very nice and the staff was very friendly!

Great breakfast, beautiful rooms, beautiful hallways and other areas with access to the black sand beach. The dinner menu is very high end, with just 4 options for mains, each starting at around $55 USD (not including sides or drinks).

Understandably, this is a new hotel however, this was very impeccably run by some terrific people. The view was outstanding. The people made us feel very welcome and it was extremely clean and the food was delicious.

The place is beautiful and by far the best hotel we stayed at in Iceland. Very modern and has a great vibe. Plenty of room to relax. The breakfast was the best on the island! The downfall is that the spa is still under construction. And there isn't also to do in the nearby communities. FYI — All of Iceland has black sand. I would return to this hotel if we ever come back to Iceland.

Very beautiful hotel, quiet environment. Low key and relaxing departure from the crowds of tourists. Bed was comfortable, shower excellent, room quiet. Very nice restaurant with the most amazing windows facing the ocean. It’s a very new hotel, one wing currently under construction.

Our stay was wonderful! The hotel is new so everything was very clean and well maintained. We had an ocean view room which was awesome. We were able to leave the window cracked open and listen to the waves. The breakfast was included and very good, with a wide variety of hot and cold choices. The only criticism is the backlighting on the shelves in the room could not be turned off, so the room never really got dark. That being said, we would definitely stay here again.

Very clean room and hotel. Staff were friendly. The bed for me tho was incredibly soft. So too were the pillows. Breakfast was good. We enjoyed our stay but the bed for me didn’t help me have a decent nights sleep due to how soft the mattress was.

We really liked the hotel. It seemed like a newly constructed property with fantastic views of the beach. The rooms were very clean, facilities were top notch with a well stocked bar and a nice restaurant. The buffet breakfast was top notch. It's little bit in the middle of nowhere but the hotel has everything one would need. I will highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was perfectly situated to tour the south coast. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. The room was too warm but the front desk gave us a fan to use which helped. I also brought mosquito netting to take over the fairly small window opening. It was only a few inches allowed, more opening ability would be better. The staff was wonderful
