Very very clean rooms
We came up for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary and look at a venue for our daughter's wedding. We arrived later than expected and was still well taken care of. Restaurant on the property was closing soon but stayed open for us to eat. Our room was one of the cleanest we have ever rented, my wife and I are very picky about cleanliness and we had nothing to complain about. We would definitely stay and recommend this property again.

The pictures are accurate, I'll say that. I wasn't expecting much but there were a few areas where they lost points with me. I was working remotely on this trip and expected wifi but they provided the incorrect wifi network and password. I understand that mistakes happen but I had to reach out 3 separate times and it took over 24 hours for them to get me the corrected wifi information and then the wifi was so weak it wasn't even worth using. Nor did they acknowledge their mistake or apologize for the delay. For the price i paid, close to 1,000 for three nights, I expected the customer service to be a little better (it was nonexistent). They sell wine on the property - maybe throwing in a bottle with the overpriced room would have been a classy touch or just responding to (and owning) their own mistake in a timely manner would have been appreciated.

Just What We Needed
Such a nice, clean, quiet and well equipped rental. We were there for three days and the location was the perfect place to land for exploring the region. Oh, great wine, too!

Great Place and Location for Everything!!
Great, cozy and comfortable apartment with beautiful outside porch and the bay right across the street. Walked (uphill - great workout!) to Willow and Ciccone vineyards - other vineyards very close by. Sutton's Bay is just down the road - Hop Lot was very cool and is a must just for the atmosphere. Went to Fishtown and Glen Arbor as well as downtown Traverse City...all close by. This is a really good base point for visiting the M22 locations!

Us time
We had a peaceful and relaxing stay. Our place was spacious and quiet. Saturday and Sunday evening we were able to build a fire on the beach and just sit and relax looking out at the water. We will definitely come back.

Clean & Cozy
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean and comfortable.....with the added kitchen, the apartment was all we ever needed. Within walking distance to wineries, beaches and trails. Suttons Bay was 5 minutes driving distance to it's many shops and restaurants.

Great location; better with a few small tweaks
Great location on M22 and the lake. Pro: Space was clean and spacious. Huge bathroom. Well-equipped kitchen and a small desk. Wonderful restaurant on site with Thai dishes and pizza. They have excellent wine, too. Not-so-pro: My wife immediately noticed a musty smell when we first entered, and it affected her asthma. She spent most of our time outside on the porch. A dehumidifier would help. Our apartment (A or 1) was dark, and there were two sets of steps from the parking area. As soon as the business upstairs opened in the morning, you could hear every word being said in the shop. And the windows by the bed face the parking lot for that business (and the highway). Finally, it seemed like the air conditioning was on some kind of timer and would shut off at night, making it stuffy and warm inside.

Small one bedroom apartment with boat ramp access across the street. A good place to stay if you are going to be gone all day and just want a place to hang your hat at the end of the day.

It was in a good location for what I was in the area for. I did not like that my windows overlooked the gift shop and I couldn't leave my curtains open when I was there.

Close to TVC and Sutton's Bay
This is a cozy place to rest after a full day of visiting wineries and cider houses. The bed is very comfortable, bathroom is spacious. Everything was neat and clean. We would stay here again. It is a great value.

Long week-end to meet friends and enjoy MI wine
The VRBO property is an old dairy farm converted to house 3 separate apartments in addition to several retail spaces. We had the smallest apartment which was OK. As described in the listing however they don't tell you about the smell of the water. The water source is a well and there is a distinct sulphur smell in the water. Shower, kitchen sink, etc.

Great location in the Traverse City area.
This is a great property to stay at if you want to visit the Traverse City area. The room was very spacious and clean. There are two restaurants attached to the farm if you need a bite. Highly recommend.

Ideal location, cozy stay
Location was in the middle of everything- 10-15 minutes from downtown traverse and just about 2-4 min from several wineries. Huge bathroom and studio style-room with touchy wifi but we really didn’t need it, cable TV had several hundred channels to choose from.

Excellent place to stay for one or a couple!
The unit I had was spacious with large bathroom. I was very happy with the location since I took my bike and it was very close to the Leelanau Bike trail. Rich was very friendly and helpful. If you have never been to Suttons Bay, there is Hansen grocery within 5 minutes of drive where I got all I needed for coffee and other grocery items. BTW, don't attempt to ride your bike to the trail from this place unless you are in a very good shape (steep hills to get there). Just park your car near the trails and jump on it. Anyway, I enjoyed my stay and surely would recommend the place.

Great apartment and location!
Location is great, just a few minutes south of Sutton’s Bay. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and cozy. Thai food and wine at Hawkins farm were both very good. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised and more than pleased with everything. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for a wine country getaway
This apartment is perfect for a getaway to wine country. It is very close to many beautiful local wineries (we criscrossed the peninsula visiting many of them) and the full kitchen is so convenient especially when trying to limit being indoors (like in restaurants) due to COVID.

Perfect weekend get away
This was a great little place to stay. Quiet and quaint and perfect for hopping from winery to winery sleeping bear dunes the mission peninsula and Charlevoix. We took our boat and we're pleased at all the local lakes for fishing just a short trip away!

Great Location
Everything went very well. We loved how centrally located the property was. And while I didn’t know what to expect from the rental being part of a larger property, with wine tasting and a gallery, everyone seemed very respectful of everyone else’s space. On a side note, we mistakenly left an AirPod when we left. The owners were very prompt in responding to us when we contacted them and made sure we got it back, which was greatly appreciated.

Pleasantly surprised
Very roomy apartment type lodging. Only thing missing was a peeler in the kitchen. Plenty of parking for the boat we were towing, with a state launch right across the street. Had a bonfire on the beach just a short walk across the street. This place was perfect for the lake hopping we did.

Great location!
This property was perfect for our great away! It had all of the essentials, with a large bathroom, kitchen and bedroom. Location was easy to find and didn’t bother us that near the business. We came to enjoy the area, not just stay inside the whole time! We loved the hidden across the street beach access.

Great location
Great location for a visit to Sutton's Bay. Friendly people. Good Thai food. Only limitation is our unit (1 i think) had windows looking out onto retail / public space so could not open blinds. We did not need to spend much time in room so OK by us. Comfy bed, good shower. Good space.

Relaxing Stay
Rich was a great host, giving us a tour of the property and tales of it's history when we arrived. The suite was very clean and quiet in the evenings. There was a slight sulfuric smell when using the hot water in the shower but otherwise a good stay.

Hidden gem in a great location!
This daylight apartment is underneath the barn in the photograph, at Hawkins Farms Cellars winery. Rich was a lovely host, and the apartment was just what we needed. Full kitchen, large bathroom, and very clean. WiFi was spotty inside the apartment but outside was much better. Quick access to M-22, and across the street from a beach and boat launch. Great place to stay if you want to be out of Traverse City proper!

First Timers
Very clean and comfortable. Could not get WiFi in the room and had to go out front. Liked the large bathroom, but could use more water pressure in the shower. I would recommend.
