We had an amazing stay at the Romantique Chalet. The place was impeccably clean, smelled wonderful, and felt instantly welcoming. It’s quiet, cozy, and intimate, with a beautiful view of the river that made the whole experience feel peaceful and restorative.The chalet is thoughtfully decorated, and we especially loved the Japanese‑inspired touches throughout the space — they added a sense of calm and intention that made the stay feel even more special.The chalet is fully equipped with everything we needed, from the kitchen to the bathroom and all around the home. It’s clear that a lot of care went into making sure guests feel comfortable.We were only 15 minutes from the center of Sutton, with plenty of great dining options nearby if we didn’t feel like cooking.Elisa was a fantastic host — quick to respond, helpful, and made check‑in incredibly easy.Overall, this is a perfect place to unwind and recharge, and we would absolutely stay here again.

Our stay at Chalet Romantique was lovely. The setting is peaceful and surrounded by natural beauty, with hiking trails and great dining options a short distance away. The rooms were spotless, thoughtfully appointed, and felt both elegant and comfortable. Our host, Elisa, has consistently been gracious and attentive, including small touches small touches that made the space feel like home. We are eager to return!

Le chalet était magnifique, le seul côté négatif est que je m’attendais à un divan lit dans le salon donc plus pour deux personnes dans le même lit car le divan est peu confortable pour un homme

We had such a great weekend at Chalet Romantique near Sutton! The chalet is cozy, clean, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect — surrounded by beautiful nature but still just a short drive to Sutton for restaurants, shops, and activities. We loved waking up to the peaceful views and spending time exploring the area. It really felt like the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. Our host was amazing — super responsive and helpful, which made everything smooth and easy. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a romantic, quiet getaway in the Eastern Townships. We’ll definitely be back!

Relaxing retreat

This cottage is absolutely wonderful! Very cozy, well stocked, and the vibe is very zen. The grounds are also beautiful! My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing, much needed break from the pace of city life.

Eastern Townships Gem

The description and pictures of the chalet are extremely accurate but still do not prepare you for the peace and tranquility that abound. Chalet Romantique was very eclectic. The decor was a mix between mid-century modern and French country. The bed was very comfortable and the soaker tub wonderful after a day of hiking. Hot water was never a problem and the rainshower had tons of pressure. The kitchen was ridiculously well stocked (coffee grinder, espresso maker, etc.) The property is dog friendly and ours liked to watch a chipmunk from the full size dining room window. The property is beautifully landscaped and maintained. I swam once in the pond which was incredibly clean. Due to the rural location it was very quiet.At night you could see the stars with no trouble. We can’t wait to return.

Tres Magnifique

We booked last minute for the eclipse after our previous plans changed. What a role of good fortune that was! This place was truly wonderful to stay at and I think the listing undersells that. There was such little details and intention in the chalet that made us feel right at home and relaxed. We ended up spending a fair amount of time on the property and it was serene. The brook in the back was our favorite and the whole experience felt very private, even with no leaves on the trees. Would definitely stay here again!

Elisa was wonderful and this place is so peaceful. Deep soaking tub, great decorations, best kitchen I've seen for cooking in. Lots of wood for the stove with other heating systems if that's not what you want. I will be staying there again. Made the perfect retreat!

Sutton ski getaway

The cabin was about 25 min away from Mount Sutton which at first seemed long . It turned out to be a perfect place to be st the end of our ski day. We cooked in which we love to do . It was perfect , quiet and clean and cozy. It had everything we needed. Wood burning fire. Will come back again . Mount Sutton was awesome despite this winter and lack of snow.

Idyllic Retreat

My spouse and I stayed in the Chalet Romantique for 2 weeks and could not have been happier. It was everything we were looking for, both the chalet and the surroundings which are absolutely beautiful. The chalet has everything you need, right down to having a freshly sharpened set of cooking knives. And Elisa is an amazing and friendly host. The property is a 20 minute drive from Sutton, which also has everything one needs. We will very much look forward to returning. Thank you Elisa.

Serenity Plus

We were so impressed with the gorgeous grounds! Trees, flowerbeds, pond, etc. At first, we were sorry to be 25 minutes from our family reunion people in Sutton, but soon we came to appreciate the utter beauty and serenity of this lovely home. It provided a real "escape" from my chaotic family !

Paradise in the Townships

My husband, our 6 month old puppy and I enjoyed the most idyllc three days at this stunning property, celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary.. The grounds are simply breathtaking and there is no way photos can do justice to the beauty and serenity that awaits you. We were there in early May and the gardens are nothing short of spectacular. We can only imagine what they must look like in the middle of summer when everything is in full bloom. We stayed in the 1 bedroom Romantique Chalet and it was perfect for us. It is extremely well equipped with lovely pottery and so many thoughtful and artistic touches. Elisa and Guy are the kindest and most welcoming hosts, who go out of their way to ensure their guests feel at home. And we cannot forget Coal, their awesome poodle who befriended our puppy, keeping him entertained and occupied so we could relax and just take in the beauty. We returned from our getaway feeling rejuvenated and relaxed and look forward to going back. If I could give this property and this experience 10 stars I would!
