  • 4,100 square feet lovely private brick 4 bedroom waterfront home directly on the James River with water access and spectacular water views. Beautiful sunrises and wildlife to view daily. Great quiet location near many tourist destinations including Busch Gardens, Water Country, Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown, and Chippokes State Park. Lovely Historic Smithfield is 25 min away. Our property is waterfront just steps away from the water. Our property is large -your fellow travel partners will have plenty of privacy. There are two kitchens one kitchen on the main floor and one on the garden level. Children are welcome. High Chair and Pack and Play available on request.

The property is fantastic, pictures do not do it justice. We had 6 adults staying in 4 bedrooms and everyone was very pleased with their bedroom.The property was well stocked with kitchen essentials, even disposable products (we used up the aluminum foil so we replaced it).The views of the river from were great, even inside the house.We are very thankful to Rene for making this property available. We look forward to staying there again.

We had a fantastic stay! The house is gorgeous and we loved spending our evenings on and along the river. There was lots of space for our group of 8 to have their own rooms and bathrooms. Using the ferry (which was only 5 minutes away) to get across to Jamestown and Williamsburg was easy and greatly enjoyed by my children. We hope to stay here again in the future!

Family Vaca

Great place to stay with family while enjoying all the area has to offer. The ferry is close by so makes that an easy commute. Enjoyed the home and the beautiful view of the river! Kids had a great time exploring the water’s edge.

We loved the Surry , Smithfield area. Beautiful country and such welcoming people.

Wonderful large home by the river

We all enjoyed our stay in the home. Great mattresses, plenty of space, full kitchen supplies, and perfect location for visiting Williamsburg and Jamestown. The view from the kitchen of the river was perfect, kayaks a great addition, and location felt secluded. The family loved it.

Fabulous house.

Perfect place to stay if you want to avoid the crowds in Williamsburg. Easy accesd to the ferry. Beautiful view of James river. Would go there again. Loved the decor inside.

Beautiful getaway

The property was beautiful and the living spaces were spacious. The kitchen was well appointed. The host was timely with answering our questions and gave nicely detailed instructions for the check in and check out process.

EXCELLENT LOCATION

This is the second year we have stayed here. Superb views over the James river. Quiet location. Very near Scotland Jamestown ferry. Free and one of the US best trips.There were only 3 of us so the house was spacious and we had a bathroom each. All the facilities you need , Good wifi and Tubi TV. Overall excellent

Holiday on the James River

Beautiful immaculate home with stunning views of the James River. We visited Williamsburg each day via the ferry. Great communication with the owner. This was our second time staying here. Highly recommend!

Great family home

This is such a wonderful property- the location is perfect for all your tours, Busch Gardens, Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown…the ferry was simple to use and close to the house. Speaking of, such beautiful views- what fun to watch all the wildlife and to just relax! There was more than enough room for us all- hoping to come back again one day.

A Place That Restores The Soul

The property was as beautiful as the pictures and the description. The breath taking view is to restore your soul to return back to the real world. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the stay and the home had every amenity needed for a comfortable stay! We will definitely return.

The home is spacious & well maintained. Beds and living room furniture are very comfortable. We didn't do much cooking, but the kitchen had plenty of dishes & other equipment. The only complaint is most of the windows/doors in the living/ kitchen area dont have shades. The morning sun is blinding in that space. The view is amazing though! My sisters & I all agreed this was our favorite VRBO ever! Oh, & Rene was great to work with.

Outstanding

Lovely home right on the James River. Our family saw bald eagles, herons, osprey and even a dolphin in the water. Binoculars provided were great to have to see all the surrounding wildlife. Conveniently located close to the ferry to go to Jamestown and Williamsburg.

Lovely property on the other side of the James River from Williamsburg. Short and pleasant ferry ride to all attractions. Nice home with gorgeous views. Would recommend
