"The staff were very helpful. The room was okay and what you would expect for the price. When I pulled back the window curtain the outside pane was cracked and there was green slime growing between the panes. Gross. Again the staff were friendly and helpful."

"The location was convenient but the road construction taking place was inconvenient. The rooms have been renovated very nicely! However, the Expedia site shows a price of $59 a night when it’s first opened then once you begin to reserve the room the price changes to $65 a night. The blue bubble states, “ what you see is what you pay.” but the price goes up once you begin the reservation process? What’s up here?"

"The Guest House in Carthage is your basic 1960’s Motel that has been renovated with updated interiors and a good kiss of maintenance on the outside. Everything was clean. Nothing was particularly special, but it was what I needed near the end of a long motorcycle journey. The gentleman who checked me in was professional, kind, and polite, even lending me his carport to protect my bike from the elements and provide a modicum of security. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it...
