"The cottage was very attractive from the outside and the inside. Big trees around the property and one entrance had a handicapped ramp which was very helpful to me with mobility issues. The inside was extremely clean and well organized. Large free-standing fireplace and attractive furnishings. The big kitchen/dining room had plenty of space for a family. "The home was beautiful, we enjoyed our stay. It was very clean and well stocked. The floor plan was awesome and the use of the garage during our stay was a very nice feature. The reason for the four stars was because of a couple things. 1. The hot tub usage clause that came up after we booked the home and right before we had check-in. The clause is not written anywhere - but here it is.... if you use the hot tub Allen or Cory wanted to be notified by 10 a.m. the next morning and then the spa...

"Our stay was not typical. First the location is great, lots of room, big deck, peaceful lakeside. We had to cut our stay short because of a recurring issue with a gas leak. The owner lives in Las Vegas. Responses to phone msg and texts varied. This would not have been a big problem except for the urgency of our particular situation. Coordination issues with local caretaker/utilities ultimately contributed to our early departure. There was an initial attempt to repair but the problem reoccured....
