The house is in a great location that is uncrowded and not noisy at all. Just a few steps from the beach! It was beautifully decorated and had everything that you need. I loved every single decoration and item that they had. There is plenty of space and no one was crowded. All of the mattresses were great and comfortable. I love the fact that they put queen beds in the rooms upstairs. Most places put bunkbeds in the rooms with hard mattresses, which I hate because not everyone brings kids on vacation. This is a place for plenty of grown-ups to stay at. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans and dishes. Two golf carts were included which we loved especially the 22year olds and the dog! Our dog was also welcomed to come because he is also our baby! The owners were very nice and responded quickly. As we discovered something wrong with one of the golf carts on our first day. They got Ocean Lakes to fix it and we had it back the next day, which we were surprised because we figured that it would be in the shop all week. We had an awesome week, great weather and the campground was great too. We have been coming to Myrtle Beach for 20 years and this is the best place we have ever stayed. We will definitely come back next year.

First off--the location of this house is EXCELLENT! You are literally a 1 minute walk to the beach! This "resort" is very large, so having 2 golf carts was awesome. You ride them everywhere (beach, water park, ice cream shop, little convenience store, coffee shack, arcade).The house itself worked ok for our needs (7 adults and 3 children). We pushed the max capacity with 10 people. I would say it's better suited for 4-6 people because the living area is very small and the kitchen is very small. The front porch/balcony is also small--if someone is sitting in the chairs on the porch you have to squeeze by them to go downstairs.The house is a little outdated, but it was clean--and that was great to walk into! Aside from the older carpet, squeaky doors, some rotting wood on the balcony -it did come very equipped--we had all the kitchen appliances we needed, plenty of cups/plates/utensils, the showers worked well, there were some cleaning supplies already there when we arrived. There were extra blankets and pillows which was nice. The beds weren't very comfortable though.For anyone traveling with children: note that quiet time in the park doesn't start until 11pm. So if you have a rowdy crew anywhere in the vicinity (like we did--directly behind us was a party house with about 15 kids), you will hear EVERYTHING. We had to call security 2 times. And i will say that they responded in a very timely fashion and shut down the loud noise. I was very impressed by the quick response

Beautiful Vacation Home

We loved the home as soon as we walked in. Clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was pretty well stocked. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra blankets and pillows. ALL of the appliances were top notch!!THE VIEW is gorgeous. The deck is spacious. The gold carts were so fun to decorate and participate in the golf cart parade. This home is perfect for a family. We had 6 people and had plenty of room.Highly recommended!!!!

Wonderful home, wonderful location

We spent Thanksgiving there as a family and had an amazing time. The house was stocked with everything we needed and more. The furniture was comfortable, the home was decorated beautifully, and having the golf carts to use to get around the property was wonderful. Literally just steps to the beach and an ocean view from the front porch. The owners were wonderful to work with. We hope to be back soon!

Very nice ocean view.

This property was overall very nice. Just 4 houses away from the beach was perfect walk, when the beach was packed. The 2 golf carts were included and were so nice to have to ride around in. You are a ways away from the pool so came in handy to truck everyone there. It was nice to be in the more quiet part of the park. The house was perfect size for our family to be comfortable. The owner was very nice and helpful. If we needed anything the owner was prompt in responding. Would definitely stay here again.

Great House

Ocean Lakes stay February

This is a very nice house located steps to the beach! The kitchen had everything you need to cook. The beds were comfy. Ocean Lakes is great as far as amenities and activities. Since it was too cool to be beach bums we used the indoor pool, played mini golf and even painted ceramics. Communication with the owner was great.

Wonderful home and host.

We enjoyed staying in this home so much! The host is quick to text back with any questions or problems that you may have. The house is stocked with everything that you could possibly need plus more. The use of the closet space in the house was the most convenient that we’ve ever seen. We stayed impressed with our entire visit. We definitely recommend this home, as well as this host! Great experience!

Great Property and Owner!

The house was perfect for our trip with mothers, daughters and grandchildren. My 3-year-old grandson loved having his own "room" - the bed in the closet! The house was clean and well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the golf cart was an added benefit. Tonya was wonderful to work with and answered all my inquiries promptly. We plan to stay in this home again next year! Now if you could just add an elevator.... :)
