Location was perfect!

Owner was very kind, courteous and responded timely. Being at the front of Oceanside’s property,directly across the street to ocean access was more convenient that I expected it to be. Usually we get a golf cart to tote everything to the ocean; totally unnecessary with this easy access. The house was perfect. The windows in the main living area were great for storm watching! While the house is clean, it could greatly benefit from a deep cleaning. We had a great stay and plan to return the next time we visit the beach!!

Excellent host, location and property

We were right across the street from the beach, had beach access parking included. There were lakes to fish in, and outdoor pool.The house was perfect for our group of 7. Rules were visible and easy to follow.

Location! Location! Location!

Our family stayed for a week and we all agreed this may have been our best beach vacation stay ever! That's saying a lot since we love to travel together. The house set up is great and the location is perfect. It is just steps from the beach. Located between the Surfside pier and Garden City Pier with some really great restaurants, close to grocery stores and shopping. Hostess is wonderful with great communication! We plan to stay again in the future!!

We love this area of Myrtle Beach and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. The house was the perfect location, just right across the street from the beach. The neighborhood was very family-oriented. Would definitely book this house again for our family vacation!

July vacay

The property and location are great. The check in at the gate was confusing as they have their new process in place and my dads truck had not been entered into their portal so I got sent to the office and then to Rose real estate office and it was very chaotic but some of that could’ve been handled differently by their office staff and by us as a family. The cleaning folks were still there until 3:15 and told me they left towels in the dryer but luckily we didn’t need them so it was not a big deal at all. I folded them and put them on the shelf in the laundry room. It was nice having the beach cart available from the storage box to use. Great access to the beach and plenty of room. We will be inquiring on staying again next year.

Home near the beach Oceanside

My family enjoyed our stay at Oceanside Village. There was plenty of room for the 7 of us. Access to the beach is just across the road. It's a busy street corner. But, people are very willing to stop and let you cross.

Lovely vacation spot!

This house was perfect for our family vacation! My husband and I enjoyed the motorcycle rally while our family enjoyed the beach that was just across the street. The house was exceptionally clean.

Old home close to the beach

We lived how close to the beach this house is. The property manager was super easy to get a hold of and the maintenance guy, Ed, was amazingly helpful! He came out right away to fix our door and suggested restaurants and other activities for us to do when we asked. The appliances in the house desperately need to be updated (couldn't have a conversation in the dinning room, kitchen, or living room if the dishwasher was running because it was so loud). And the house was super far away from the pool in the gated community. We had older adults with us who couldn't do the walk: we had to pile in the back of my husband's pick up truck. Finally, the community charges you to have access to the back gate. This should be included in the price of the house. Overall, our vacation was wonderful. We had beautiful weather and other than the house needing updated and the fact that we had to pay to use the back gate, the community was quiet and our stay was great.

Close to the beach!

We really loved our stay!! The house was the perfect size for our group of 8 (4 adults, 4 kids aged 3-6). Lots of seating and lots of table space for meals. We loved that we were such a short walk to the beach and an easy golf cart ride to the pool. Having the covered porch was so great too. Kitchen was well stocked! I will say, my husband is 6’2” and had a hard time with the height of the ceiling in some places. With shoes on he really had to pay attention to the header leading into the living room and I would not recommend the tallest in the party using the queen room by the front door (across from the laundry) - it became a running joke how many times he was going to hit his head on the ceiling fan!! All in all we had a wonderful time and will absolutely book again!!

Great location and prompt reply from owner and cleaner.

The location was great, right across the street from the beach entry. The place was as advertised, clean and comfortable. The extras such as umbrellas and sand toys were a nice touch. Because of my crazy work schedule, no cell service at work and lengthy commute, I was late getting back to the owner. They were very accommodating. Check in and out was a breeze. The $20 for the back entrance pass was well worth it as we were just at the end of the street. Much more convenient than having to navigate all the way through the property from the front entrance. Roads are narrow and cars, golf carts and pedestrians are plentiful. We all enjoyed the pool on several occasions. My only complaint would be the closed in porch- not much breeze unless it was windy. That and the afternoon sun made it a hot place to be in the afternoon. I would suggest woven blinds or curtains, but the way storms can blow in and out, I can understand why you don't have any. All in all we had a great week and enjoyed the house. My 4 year old niece told me more than once that she really liked "my house"! If only!

Perfect location!

The location of this house to the beach is perfect. Short walk to beach access and quiet, clean beach. House was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. A little warm Inside during a hot summer day but we brought a large fan and that definitely helped. We didn’t spend much time inside so it was not a big deal. Owner was easy to get in touch with any questions and left of lots of great information about area, neighborhood and house. Would definitely rent again.

Great location, very busy beach! House was ok, we have spent less for a lot nicer house close to beach. Wasn’t impressed how you could only rent a golf cart from Oceanside, and couldn’t leave the area on it. The house had a sewage smell all week. Very unpleasant at first but think we all just became accustomed to it. Wasn’t messaged that the house was ready upon arrival, but the lady said she messaged me but didn’t. I think she forgot
