Location is excellent, nice quiet street - you will probably never stay at a more unique property.. Quirky, and over the top in styling - it's a little rustic and a little run down.. But great value and perfectly suited our extended family stay, lots of games, toys and activities for every age group.

Elwood st Surf Beach

House and gardens are large to accommodate large groups.However we found the house is very tired and over furnished. The decor is tacky and overwhelming.Unfortunately the upstairs aircon didn’t work despite the manager finding an electrician to come out to look at it. This unfortunately made the upstairs sleeping area very extremely hot and uncomfortable. It was just too hot upstairs for our very young grandchildren, aged 5,3,3 and 13 months.

Perfect for Family

Such a great set up and family Stay. Kids had a ball and adults could relax while watching them run around the backyard golf course. Thank you we will definitely be back and rate highly.

Don’t Be Fooled by the Photos

This property was disappointing. The bedrooms were small and horribly decorated. Not sure how often the bedding gets washed, maybe it’s just needs to be renewed. Had an ensuite in one bedroom without a toilet. Had to reorganise the family room to pull out the sofa beds which were apparently very uncomfortable. Pulling them out made sitting around the table difficult. And the futons will not sleep an adult, just a small child. It didn’t look anything like the photos. Sorry for the bad review but this wasn’t a cheap stay and it was not worth the money we spent on it.

Great accom

Great space for a family or large bunch of mates. Golf course kept everyone entertained with a few beers and the house was in perfect order. Perfect spot on the island for a short comute to san remo, Woolami and a walk to Surf beach

Great beach holiday

The property was comfortable and felt relaxing immediately, the decorations created a cozy holiday vibe that helped us have a great time. The host was very communicative and polite and assisted with any enquiries we had.

A good place to stay

Overall this is a great place - loads of bedrooms so can accommodate a lot of people, and arrival and entry was easy. It was clean and tidy, a bit more tired than the photos suggest, but very comfortable and has everything you could want. Minor quibbles were the upstairs sofa bed is very uncomfortable, and the constant reminders not to strip the beds before leaving is slightly disconcerting. But all in all I would recommend this property.

GETAWAY WITH FRIENDS

The overall experience whilst staying at this Phillip Island property was fantastic. The house was spacious , luxurious and clean , and offered everything that the property owner had advertised. Short trip into Cowes and close proximity to beaches and all attractions the Phillip Island has to offer. Bed linen and towels provided was a huge bonus , and the house had everything you would normally have at your own home. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and great communal areas to sit back and socialise. We couldm't have asked for more and will definitley be re-booking here next year and in the future. If I could give it a 10-start rating I would. Totally satisfied.

Quick one night getaway

We had a comfortable stay at the beach house, Mike was easy to contact. The mini golf was fun and it was a good 8km ride into Cowes on our bikes.

Great for large family

We stayed over Christmas for 3 days with a total of 10 adults and 2 children , so great for large family. Mike was fantastic whenever we had a question always a quick reply. The back yard mini golf was a hit with everyone and have an upstairs and downstairs tv's was great and only a short walk to the end of the street to an amazing view of the ocean. I would definitely recommend this property to stay in, just one thing there needed another toilet in the upstairs en suite (due to the amount of people) but over all an amazing place.
