"The entire house was slanted, making it difficult to walk up the stairs, which were already fairly steep. One friend left with unspecified bug bites on her leg, several of us had reddish and brown stains on our mattresses, and one persons was flipped over to hide said stains. Floor came up a bit in the kitchen on our first night there and a friend got a scratch on her foot from it. Trash was also not taken out when we arrived. "The cottage was amazing. It was cozy and the lake view with the trail was beautiful. Not having a television or wifi helped us to disconnect from the busyness of our everyday lives and reconnect with nature and each other. We would definitely love to come back and enjoy another stay. "
