"It's a very cute old building. The owner, Jeff, was very kind, helpful, and flexible. It was close to everything in town. The room was beautiful and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel and would love to stay there again when in Haines."

"This was a pleasant surprise- front desk staff upgraded us to a suite with views of both harbor and mountains when we told them it was my partner’s birthday. All staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Bed was extremely comfortable with lots of pillows and soft sheets. Location is right in the downtown area near all restaurants, shops, and public transit yet quite quiet. Our 3 night stay was excellent! Facility could use an update, but it was absolutely fine for us especially with the spacious...

"Glacier Bay Lodge is several miles outside of the small town of Gustavus, but the destination of choice for travelers to the area, providing an optimal staging place for trips out to the glacier. We hiked the coast on the forest trails running north and south from the lodge. Both trails are extremely well maintained and gorgeous the whole way through. The staff was more than happy to ensure we knew all of the risks in the area and allow us to borrow bear spray just in case things went sideways....

"Un hotel un tanto descuidado, llegamos a la 1am y muy mal servicio de recepción, tardamos ora atender. En limpieza era bueno todo limpio y todo bien ordenado. El baño era muy pequeño apenas podías abrir la puerta. Nos tocó cerca de una salida de emergencia y todas las mañanas desde las 7am era un ruido muy fuerte de azotes de puertas, voces, golpes con cosas. "

"During my stay at the place, they supposedly clean the room twice a day. But in almost 2 weeks that I stayed, not once did they clean the room. Bad service."
