Spring Break 2025

Wonderful property, well equipped and views from almost every room. Arcade game was a nice bonus for the little bit of rain we had. Ample parking for our crew of ten and an electric auto charger(forgot to bring our cable).We had a wonderful time!

Nice house with a great view.

Overall the house was nice and fit our family of 10 well. The view and the surrounding areas were beautiful. I loved having my coffee on the deck watching the ocean. I have a couple of complaints about the house but honestly very minor. The door knobs were terrible. The back door knob was practically falling off. The lighting upstairs in the bedrooms need repair. The only lights in the room we stayed in was one tiny lamp and it was broken but we were able to repair it to use. My major complaint was customer service. I have rented from VRBO many times and this was the first time that is was subrented by another company called VACASA. I have never heard of or used this company before but things did not work the typical VRBO way. VACASA needed a whole other app to be able to do anything for this property. It took a while to figure this out after not hearing from this booking. The cleaning agency was late on the day of check in and we were delayed entering the home. I messaged VACASA with no response for a long time. In fact when I messaged them from the VRBO app it took them more than a day to respond. I also used their app and it also took a while for them to return my message only to get a “sorry it happens” kind of response. If you want great customer service, skip this house and a company called VACASA.

The renovation is lacking in professional finishing. Poor craftsmanship. There is no way the painting was done professionally. Multiple light switches making no sense. Electrical outlets poorly installed with some unsafe. The door knobs/locks on upper level difficult to open. Doors need to be adjusted. Obvious soft spots in floor (rushed job in renovating). Light fixture in kitchen near windows has poor connection and is flickering. Needs to update the pictures on web (coffee pot cheap and not what is in picture. Washer/Dryer are in very poor shape and desperately need to be replaced. Also, dishwasher is totally deteriorated and not safely usable RUSTED!!!!! Thank you for the Dove Products, Awesome!! Roaches 2 inches long. Please make sure the next people staying are advised to disinfect before cooking or prepping on any surface and to pre wash whatever dishes they use.

Getaway to Holden Beach

We loved this house. The decor was nice and the location was wonderful. The showers were instantly hot and had moveable spray wands allowing an easy cleaning of the legs and feet after a walk on the beach. The cabana was a great place to hang out and just enjoy the ocean. We were extremely happy with this house and would love to stay here again some time.

Large Family Friendly

Great property for grandparents traveling with grown children and grandchildren. Open living area and kitchen with gazebo and easy beach access. New updates in many areas. Will definitely stay again.

No good!

This house was by no measure ready to rent. It was 1/2 renovated and very dirty and cluttered, the outside was so grown up that there were rats running around. I could go on and on but why? It was a mess and not worth the amount of money I paid to rent. I’ve spoken with vrbo people as well as the local Vacasa representatives and have only received a small portion of a refund. The grounds were so unkept that rats were visable and the down stairs could not be used at all. Not a happy renter at all.
