Great Location & Served Our Needs

The location of the property to the beach was good, and the pool was great. The cleanliness was just OK. Served our needs. We felt the kitchen was well stocked with good pots and pans, but there were many broken items in the house. Check in and out was easy and the house having two sitting areas was great. Overall, we would recommend it to a family.

Loved this place

Very clean! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook every day. It was a short walk to the beach access. We really enjoyed the pool as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Property for Family!

I was extremely impressed with the Duplex. 1st when I started looking, I was concerned that the property wouldn't work for my family. 6 adults staying together. The more I studied the pictures, I took a 2nd look and realized what a unique layout it was, etc. Actually was perfect! All the essentials needed were available in the home... Great cooking wear plus kitchen utensils. Highly recommend the home, and am looking forward to staying there again! Holden Beach is a lovely place to visit. Thank yout

Lovely spot!

Comfortable beds, lots of space to spread out, heated pool was perfect for April and the kids loved their bunk room. I wish the towels and starter supplies (soap, TP, etc) were included like they have been in other rentals we’ve stayed at, but that’s our only main feedback!

overall most pleasantly satisfied.. The pictures provided were exactly as you see when you arrive. The kitchen was perhaps the best stock for anything you need to cook. Really pleased with the rooms and living space.. The pool was most pleasant to use and was very clean.. The pool cleaners came during our visit and before we were leaving on Saturday morning. Defintely will consider this place if we decide to return to holden Beach next year.. Thanks for a great stay

Nice vacation and great house.

The property and house was great. The house had a lot of extras like beach chairs, wagon, and fans. It was very enjoyable. There are a few neighbors that were not real friendly, but we didn't let that ruin our time in the house. The house was wonderful. There was a sleeper sofa that we would have loved to use, however it was locked and we were not able to utilize it. Other than that, great stay.

Birthday celebration!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Holden Beach! However, I must take this time to inform you of a couple of issues we encountered during our stay. 1. When we arrived, we were greeted by a large amount of hornet's swarming the front of the house. Not being from North Carolina and scared to exit the car naturally we called the property management company to see if they could send someone to check it out. Unfortunately, no one came so we called again. The second time someone came but they only drove by and did not come out to talk to us. Finally, we had to call a third time to get someone to come check it out. Everything we fine after that and we were told the hornets were safe and would not harm us, but it was very frustrating it took that many calls to get someone out. 2. The patio furniture is old and not really "usable". All of the lawn chairs were cracked and would crack more when you would sit on them. Not until the end of the stay did someone come out to check on the rotting wood around the pool... and took the broken chairs away. I wish there was a little more attention to the details when the home is being serviced between guests, that could have easily been caught! 3. We were short a set of queen sheets for one of the beds. Thankfully, we packed an air mattress and a set of sheets for that just in case, so we were able to make that work on our own. Finally, the mini fridge in the garage clearly had not been checked and there was month old shrimp left in it... again attention to detail is so important when it comes to things like this. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay and having our entire family together. Thanks for reading.

Splish, splash all day long

We loved this cottage! Our granddaughters are 4 and 8, and they spent so much time every day in the pool. It was the perfect size for them to swim in. The house is well laid out, and every space is thoughtfully decorated and used. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, and we appreciated being allowed to use the wagon and beach chairs on the beach. We highly recommend this location! It was close to the beach, but much quieter than if we had been one street over on Ocean Blvd.

Good Family Beach

I would have given this 5 stars, instead of 4, except for the fact that there were two garbage cans, overflowing in front when we got there. It smelled horrible! I find out that they pick up Sat. and Tuesday. ( evidently did not make it in time on Sat, even though it says to put it out Friday night) There were maggots crawling all over the outside of can. When they dumped it Tuesday I had to pull the water hose out front to rinse off cans, before bringing it back, because I could not touch the cans for all the maggots. Then the neighbors next door came out and starting yelling at me not to rinse the cans in front of the properties. It really put a damper on our trip. Then on day six, the steps at inside of pool where covered in green algae.( the pool woman came, but she did not do the steps) It really is a nice place inside. A shame that this happened and put a damper on things for us all.

Wonderful getaway

We had a 7 and 1 year old with us and the home had a pack n play, high chair and a baby gate for our convenience. The house was very clean. Check in/out was a breeze. The pool was used all day every day by the kids. The only issue we had was the deck was slightly dry rotted in one area and broke, but i contacted the management and was emailed back right away about someone coming to fix it. We have never rented a duplex and we’re a little worried about being to loud & vice versa, absolutely no issues at all! The location is great as well. We will definitely be coming back to stay!
