"stayed here the same day as the person who left a 2/10 review. not sure what they were talking about. the value for the price was great. my room and the rest of the hotel was very clean (and smelled normal!). the staff were extremely kind and accommodating. it's also very clear when you book that it's an independent hotel, the travel lodge sign is really irrelevant if you can follow simple directions! all in all it was a really lovely stay and i would return. the bed was super comfy too! and...

"Some things were dated but I can say honestly it was one of the best motels I’ve stayed in and I would stay there again. Some things were dated but all well cared for and it was very clean. The floor was new laminate, bed sheets were fresh and crisp and white, mattress was very comfortable, pillows were great. Heat is self-controlled electric baseboard heaters and we were able to make the place nice and warm. "

"Beautiful old motel that was probably a great place in the 70s and 80s. It still is now but its just old. However they keep it clean and the view is awesome "

"We had a wonderful stay here over Christmas. The house was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for our family of five to relax and enjoy time together. The kitchen was large and very well stocked. We were lucky enough to have snow during our stay, and the place looked absolutely gorgeous - especially enjoyed from the hot tub, which was a real highlight. We’d absolutely recommend this place and would happily stay again."

We lucked into some fine summer weather and enjoyed sitting on the back of the property watching the world go by. See photo. Our hosts were solicitous and responsive to our needs.
