Lovely and spacious home

We had a wonderful time staying in this lovely and spacious home in a fun and very convenient location. The host was so accommodating and an excellent communicator throughout our stay. Would love to stay here again the next time we’re in the Bay Area.

Great Location, cute place

our party was two couples,we really enjoyed staying here, the enclosed patio is nice. Even though it's walking distance(5 min) to shopping and restaurants the place is very quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous gem in heart of Sunnyvale

Our family greatly enjoyed our time in the home. It was a comforting refuge when we lost power at our own home for over a week. Home had everything we needed and the communication and service was top notch!

We stayed in this great Sunnyvale home for 6 nights while visiting San Jose for a lacrosse tournament. It was nice having our own rooms, bathrooms and a kitchen, instead of just a hotel room. The house is clean and well maintained. Considering it's almost 100 years old, we didn't expect perfection, but were pleased with how comfortable the home was. Its centrally located to pretty much anything and everything you need. We'll definitely try and book this place again next year.

Wonderful experience at this home!

This is a well-equipped home that truly felt like home! Super clean and very spacious! Location was centrally located to all the places we needed to go to, and it had lots to offer within walking distance. Host was very easy to communicate with and we had no issues while we were there. We would definitely stay again! Perfect rating for this immaculate and happy-feeling home!

great stay in Sunnyvale!

We were very comfortable in this home. Beds, linens and towels, comfortable living room seating, fully equipped kitchen, all made for a very pleasant stay! Loved the private outdoor sitting area as well. Lisa was a wonderful host - always available for questions. We had no issues, so all was great! Loved the location - close to major arteries, yet quiet. Near good restaurants and grocery stores. Would definitely stay again.

Love to every little detail

Lisa and Dave are very nice hosts. They contacted us promptly with check-in information, welcomed us on the day of check-in and even left some presents on the dining table: sweets, chocolate and even a bottle of wine. One little problem that we had during our stay was promptly fixed. The house is old, but is equipped with really everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The house is spacey, with a porch in front, a gas grill and a table with chairs on the veranda behind the house.

Spacious but not well maintained

Numerous issues that could easily be fixed: Horrible driveway that can damage car, forklift in driveway, dirty front porch and poorly maintained rear deck, missing teaspoons, no soap dish in shower, ridiculously tiny sink in extra bathroom, intermittently working coffee grinder, dirty wall that needs painting, odd smell (mildew?). But nice host, comfy bed, sufficiently large and conveniently located.

We needed a place to stage supplies for a wedding and to get away from wedding craziness. This home was an excellent choice in terms of size, location, proximity to stores, comfort, ease to get to, and well stocked with basics including coffee, which always indicates to me that the owner cares about our stay. The Folkers were lovely and helpful hosts. We appreciated their assistance and apology for the fact that the city was in the process of tearing up the street to replace sewers. It wasn’t a big negative and shouldn’t impact any future customers. We wish we’d had time to explore the Murphy walking street just a few blocks away.

Great location!

This property was just perfect for our Bay Area trip. Great location for visits to San Francisco, San Jose, and Santa Cruz. Walkable to coffee and many stores. Cute neighborhood. Property managers were wonderful to communicate with and so welcoming. House was clean and had all we needed. Highly recommend this property.
