We loved this place. It is the ultimate ski lodge. If you want an ultra-modern, clean-line type place, this will not be your vibe. But if you want a place that feels like it should be in central Idaho, this is the place for you. Close to the resorts and shuttle service. The on-site community hot tub and sauna are a huge bonus. The Property Management company was great to work with and super responsive. We stayed with our family of seven and did not feel cramped at all. Would stay here again 100%.

Great mountain condo

Loved the location and it was so nice to have a kitchen for the stay. Kids loved camping in the loft together! TV listed in the bedroom wasn't present. TV in the master is connected to dish network only. DVD player is dead, and the TV doesn't have anything but RCA connections so we ended up trying to stream movies after skiing on my laptop, which wasn't great. Could definitely use an upgrade there. I'd stay again in a moment though, was a great condo over all.

Good location and price value.

Met our needs for a short sky vacation rental.. good price and location. The condo could definitely use some updating in bedding and bathroom faucets.

Comfortable but the sidewalk is pretty scary

Some updating would be nice but otherwise it's very comfortable. The ice on the sidewalk and driveway are very dangerous and the HOA doesn't seem to pay attention to that

Thanksgiving get-away

We had a great experience at this condo. It was comfortable and easily accessible. We were close to everything we wanted to do and far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. We will be booking this same unit again for our next trip to Sun Valley.

Not very clean or well maintained

The property is managed by Alpine Lodging, which does the bare minimum to maintain it. The decorum/quality furniture and bedding is that of a 2-star motel. Upon entering, we were greeted by a damp moldy smell of the bedrooms and large Argentinian ants crawling around. Traps were installed and promptly ignored by the insects. The dishwasher was leaking, the cheap detergent distributed by the management company was leaving thick film on dishes. No laundry detergent was to be found anywhere. No extra paper towels, no plastic or aluminum wrap (which is often provided in other vacation rentals). Gas for the grill ran out after one use; Alpine Lodging refused to restock because the decks were supposed to be remodelled, even though ours wasn't worked on that week. Oh and the loft gets way too hot to be usable on a warm summer day. Pick a different place if you have a choice.

carpets very stained in need of professional cleaning bugs in bedroom and on carpet in front of stall shower condo dated and dark - needs to be updated when we entered condo it smelled musty and hadn't been aired-out in quite a while dishwasher had two wooden spoons stuck under lower water arms which could have damaged the machine if they were not seen prior to turning the machine on

This condo was not what we expected. It was very dark, no A/C, and everything was so old and smelly. The carpet was filthy and stained. The bathrooms were carpeted and stained as well. Will not return to this property.

Classic Elkhorn Condo

While a bit dated, the price to value ratio is great. Hot tub is nearby and the views off of the back deck are nice. Perfect for a budget conscious group stay.

This condo is sub-par

The condo looks very light and bright in the photos, but when we arrived we were quite disappointed. It has not been updated in any way EVER, and it was not very clean. Some of the dishes were dirty and it had a musty smell. There is still carpeting in the bathrooms where the toilets are and the linens were at least 25 years old. Then we discovered ants in the kitchen/dining area. I am all for "rustic,' but this was just old and not well taken care of. I gave it two stars because the location/view was fantastic. Renter beware!!
