Area seemed old and somewhat abused. Condo was nice but again, a little beat. I spent a lot of time going back and forth to the rental office which meant I couldn't do a fair amount of things I wanted to do.

Great location for all seasons! We stayed in the fall and loved the babbling creek outside and the beautiful colors. The bed is quite comfortable, and the kitchen well-stocked. There is easy access to the Sun Valley Lodge and amenities, and it's a quick drive into town for restaurants and the grocery store. It's well suited for a family of 4, but wouldn't want to share the en suite bathroom with friends. It was perfect for the two of us.

Great condo in Sun Valley

The property is in a great location, close to the Sun Valley Lodge amenities and the town of Ketchum. It was perfect for our family of three, with a well-equipped kitchen and all the essentials we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Could have been better

If this condo wasn't in Sun Valley, we would have rated lower. The area is awesome, but this property seems outdated. The fan in the bathroom was super loud and rattled. The bed sheets were itchy and not comfortable. The pillows were old and small for a king bed. On the plus side, the 2nd floor balcony had gorgeous views of the fall colors in the trees and the creek outisde was beautiful. This was a last minute trip and our two night stay was so-so. We had a great hiking and hanging out in Sun Valley and Ketchum, but next time we will stay somewhere else.

Cozy condo, suite

I was there for a conference. This location was perfect for me to be able to get between the lodge and the inn. Lots of options for food in the local area. Excellent little balcony in order to view river below and listen to the sounds of rain and watch the sunrise with coffee.

Very lovely condo next to creek

We enjoyed this condo very much. The only suggestion I would make is put in a regular dining room table and chairs as the bar stools and table are not comfortable.

Clean space but creepy neighbors

Short version-condo is very dated but clean. The “condo” directly across the hall had a combination lock on the door (not a realtor style). Out comes two strange and rather creepy guys. Hard to fully describe but my girlfriend and I didn’t feel safe after the short exchange. We chose to not stay there and we let Alpine know.

Blissful Retreat

We enjoyed everything about our stay at this charming condo. The pictures captured the place perfectly. The location was perfect. Easy walk to Sun Valley resort area, and very close to Dollar Mountain. We loved sitting on the balcony and listening to the creek. Very quiet location. And the condo was small but mighty, perfect for a couple and supplied with everything we could possibly need. A real gem.

1st time to stay at Cottonwood

Lovely, older unit. Lots of windows/light. Well equipped kitchen, great fireplace & plenty of firewood on the deck. Good bed, overall we were pleased - a real discovery. Have always stayed at the Lodge or Inn, this is much better. A bit of a walk to the pool but glad it was available to us. Kitchen could use some attention & maintenance - microwave turntable doesn't turn; latches on kitchen doors loose; one burner was not operable, light bulb in main room needs replacement; wifi had to be re-set by rental agents; kitchen faucet doesn't shut off properly. All little things, but things that should be taken care of by property managers. The unit is charming and would highly recommend.

A Good Property Except

I stayed at this one bedroom/one bath property in early February of 2021. I usually stay in a hotel in Ketchum/Sun Valley but went with a condo because the CoV-2 pandemic was still ongoing, and I wanted to minimize my contact with other people. The condo was as expected for a unit near the Sun Valley Lodge/Inn grounds. Clean and well-outfitted except for the following: a) instructions for operating the HDTV and combo washer/dryer should have been easily accessible - they were not; b) the microwave was not functional - a disadvantage to not have this valuable kitchen appliance.
