  • Unit #415 Fireside Lodge is a sunny, 1 bedroom condo located in the heart of Sun Peaks Resort. Beautiful views from the balcony of the main mountain and the Sundance ski terrain. It features a full kitchen and dining area with everything you need to feel at home. The condo can accommodate up to 4 people with a king sized bed in the large bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. Ski-in/ski-out from the door on to the groomed village ski way.
    This reservation has a Firm cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 60 days prior to the check in date.
    A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 60 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 30 to 59 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 30 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request.
    Our house rules: no smoking, no parties or events, no pets.

Close to lift

Great location to lifts and nice view of hill. Could use some hooks on walls to hang clothes. No place to lock skis in ski locker. They either had skis in them, locks on them or my skis would not fit. Might be nice to have lockers for each room number.

The location works for skiing but this is one of the furthest buildings among the advertised ski in ski out properties making access less convenient than expected. The electronic door code frequently malfunctioned often taking 10 to 15 attempts to unlock and the bathroom fan did not work at all. Several blankets had visible marks and stains so we bought our own. There were no instructions in the listing or messages requiring guests to wash dishes run the dishwasher or take out garbage beyond basic tidying and we already paid a cleaning fee yet were later told we owed extra cleaning charges. After checkout the host demanded significant money for torn couch cushions a broken dishwasher and extra cleaning. Importantly the torn cushions claim related only to wear in the fabric underneath the sofa frame not the seating cushions an area not visible or used by guests. The photos had no timestamps or before check in images the cushion document was only an estimate with no work done and the dishwasher claim relied on a single photo with no technician report. Based on this lack of evidence the process felt like an attempt to extract money rather than a legitimate claim and charges are in dispute through Vrbo. Future guests should proceed with caution clarify expectations in advance and document the unit at check in. We also cleaned dishes throughout our stay and these basic issues should have been addressed before hosting guests.

Clean and comfy!

We had a nice, comfy stay for three nights. The unit had everything we needed (included a fan in the bedroom!) It is above a bar, so quite noisy until around 11pm - not a huge issue for us.

Great place

This was a perfect place for two people. Great location. Everything you need was provided in the kitchen plus a couple extra surprises. We look forward to staying there again. Could tell no one had been in before us as the place was very dusty but still was clean and comfortable.

Back Again! Skied Hard, Used Village Nightly.

Ski downhill through the village to the lifts. Ski out on a green run to the building ski lockers. If you are a toast and coffee, spaghetti kind of folk, this cabin has everything you need for a good ski holiday. Pubs steps away!

Perfect location at the top of the village

Good quiet sleep on the top floor. Close to restaurants and bars. Traditional ski condo with everything you need for great ski days.

We couldn’t have asked for more! Owners new exactly what we wanted and needed for a ski vacation. Literally ski in/ski out through the village and directly off a run. Spacious for our kids and gear, easy fold-out couch that doesn’t require messing with cushions, and cozy fireplace. Well-lit main table for games and meals. Locks for the ski storage on the main floor. Communication throughout the lead-up and a kind check-in once it was all underway. Views of the mountain and village, and a helpful ski shop right next door to help with a broken pole. Super happy and satisfied, and grateful to have discovered Sun Peaks! Keep doing it right please! Thank you

Nice and convenient place for skiers

This appartment is clean and has everything expected for four guests. One can start skiing just from the door and come back on ski which is very convenient. For a family with two teenagers it would be great to have a folding cot so kids can sleep separately. We had one in a similar appartment in Panorama and it was great. Tatiana and Alexey.

Couple's get away

Perfect sized unit for a couple. Everything you need is there. Everything in the village is just minutes away. Picturesque views. Ski down through the village to the lift and it's just a 5 min walk back at the end of the day. Owner was extremely helpful, responses were quick.

Perfect stay for us as a couple. Everything is within 5 minutes walk. The unit had everything we needed. The village has several restaurants and ski shops for all your needs. The grocery store was surprisingly well stocked. Best if all the owner was extremely helpful with prompt responses.
