Close to town..

I was there in town for business. I ended up staying another night. The place was very clean and quiet, the staff was very nice. It was right on the outside of town. Nice and clean place.

not a pleasant one, the deoderant used to improve the room odors was almost sickining, the carpet was damp and looked to contain mold. the price was above average. won`t stay there again.

Good Stay for the price

The room was well kept and clean. The hotel is on the older side but in all it was nice for the price. A place to stay was good. The service at front desk was friendly and serving.

Comfortable room with good rate and good location.

My experience was good. The staff was friendly and helped answer questions about the area. The only thing that would have made the stay better is if there had been coffee available in the room or lobby.

HORRIBLE

Not professional at all! Made us wait a whole day for towels, room wasn't ready when we checked in . Horrible customer service !!!!' It was my last resort to chose so I settled for this crap, wouldn't recommend to anyone !!!

staff blows

When I arrived for check in door was locked. Banged on door and rang bell for 30 minutes. Finally someone came, they must stay in the room next to office. When I checked in they wanted a credit card to pay for the room. I refused and told them I booked the room thru expedia, what a pain in the but to straighten out. Finally I got my room, moved in all our stuff and took a shower. We then were ready to meet the people we were seeing. As we were in our car the women from the front office came running down and said we would have to change rooms. We said the room was fine but she kept saying that people came in every week to rent that same room. She put us next to her room that the must use when not full. The room stunk of some kind of cooking crap, curry??? maybe. The staff ***** that about it!!

We booked this room for some of our crew that is working there in Sumter and they had no complaints. We are booking again soon for the same reason. Nice to have decent rooms at a fair price.

Basic private-owned establishment

This is a little roadside motel with decent sized rooms. We had a nonsmoking room with a kingsized bed. We stayed 4 nights and the room was serviced daily. There is an onsite laundry with one washer and dryer that gets the job done nicely. The pool was closed, why I don't know except it was half-full so may have been waiting on parts to repair it. The sheets were worn but clean. The towels didn't feel like sandpaper. The air conditioning worked great. The CRT TV worked well. There was a table with two chairs as well as a desk and the WiFi worked better than most of the higher priced hotels and is complimentary. There was a larger than normal mini-fridge and microwave in the room, but no hair dryer. This motel appears to serve primarily truckers, work crews, and those with family members at Shaw AFB. As far as value goes, you more than get your moneys worth.
