Beautiful house perfect for families

We had a fantastic weekend getaway at this lovely house! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the amazing layout and breathtaking views that surrounded us. The open spaces created a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for relaxation and family bonding.One of the highlights of our stay was the opportunity to explore the water with the boat and canoes provided. Paddling along the serene surroundings gave us a sense of tranquility and allowed us to fully appreciate the beautiful birds that flitted about — a delightful experience for nature lovers!While the house does show some signs of wear, it was undeniably comfortable and functional. Everything we needed was at our fingertips, especially in the well-equipped kitchen, which made meal preparation a breeze.Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend staying at this property. It's the perfect spot for a relaxing retreat, where you can appreciate nature and enjoy quality time with loved ones. We can't wait to return!

Property tired needs some TLC

Amazing view, but that’s about where it ended for us. Driveway was flooded on arrival, two large decks covered in branches, leaves and flowers so I spent 30minutes cleaning the huge lower deck area, chairs and BBQ just so I could start relaxing at the property. Spider webs on the lounges upstairs so didn’t feel like sitting on them. Carpet old and worn. Pool table is great. Jetty is good thou completely covered in bird poo so watch your step. Kitchen and upstairs bathroom clean and organised. $755pn not worth staying at this property. We stayed at a 5 bedroom house with a pool and huge games room just up the road same street that was Absolutely amazing for similar price little back from the water! Fairly disappointing. I wouldn’t stay again

Perfect Lakehouse

So relaxing

Our family of 6 stayed over the Easter long weekend and slept, ate, kayaked, fished, kayaked some more, ate whilst looking at the gorgeous view, relaxed some more, played some board games, had many competitive games of pool, checked out the local bakery and Chinese/Thai takeaways, chatted, played some cricket on the grass, kayaked across to the other side of the bay and slept some more. A very much needed break from Sydney and work and was exactly what we all needed to unwind and recharge into the new week. Thanks so much Leisa for a house well equipped with all we needed to do this!

What a wonderful spot to come together with family and friends to enjoy a beautiful view, time out on the water and good old fashioned fun. Such a homey place that you won’t want to leave.

10/10. I can not fault this gorgeous house. The location is amazing. It's so quiet and safe. Perfect for a family or a friend's getaway. Super clean and the host was really lovely.

Little Slice of Paradise

Excellent location, right on the water. excellent facilities, dogs had fully enclosed yard and tethers where needed. Family enjoyed kyaking etc, just lovely.

Fabulous relaxing getaway

We had a wonderful time at the Starfish with its amazing waterfront. The kids and adults were entertained with the pool room, fun times on the kayaks and the spacious backyard. It was like home away from home. Looking forward to coming back in the future. Thank you Leisa.

The ultimate relax

Absolutely fantastic location to unwind with family and friends. A beautiful location right on the lake, a massive lawn to play on, throw the ball and hang out with the pets. Kayaks and tinny to explore the lake from your own jetty. Everything was at hand, things we didn’t even know we needed. Fully stocked kitchen, even with essentials like tea, coffee, cooking spray and marinades. Very well appointed for linens and blankets and everything for dining and afternoon grazing boards. Perfect spot to explore locally, within walking distance of great Chinese and Thai nearby along with the local bakery and fabulous homewares shop, sporties club, and supermarket! Thank you so much, we will be back for sure as this is our new summer vacation spot!!

Starfish Cottage

Such a peaceful haven, large waterfront with wharf, wonderful views. Leisa even texted us on how to find the scenic walk to the bakery and cafe. Hope to come back, lots of outdoor chairs and table by the water great for a family reunion.

Perfect location

Our stay was enjoyable despite the storm conditions. As a flood event sweep through NSW we were high and dry, warm and comfortable. It’s good to know a waterfront property remains above the flood level. We were all happy enough inside for a couple of days and then the location was simply perfect when the weather cleared. My favourite was taking the kayaks out for a sunset “cruise” around the bay. Thanks for sharing your beautiful house with us Leisa.

Serene and peaceful stay and stunning views!

Thank you very much Leisa for sharing your home! There was so much to do and the three nights stay was just too short. Our four young ones especially loved to play on the grass, splash in the shallow water, kayaking, riding in the dingy, or digging in the sand. We parents loved joining in too or relaxing by the water or on the deck as we watched on. Best is that all of this is literally on the doorstep and both the upper deck and lower deck were well used. The kids even learnt how to play pool. I can see us coming again and again as it's perfect even for older kids. The views are stunning and the neighbours and surrounds were so peaceful and serene. Convenient also having a small local shopping area a minute's drive or several minutes stroll. Inside the house was very well maintained and quite modern. Convenient having a washer and dryer in the laundry, and a hills hoist outside too to dry in the sun. I also liked that the backyard was quite large and fenced so that the kids can still run outside if we weren't able to be with them at the waterfront. Only downside was that we had to go back home... but we'll definitely be back again soon!

Amazing Lake House!

We had the best time at this house! It offered everything we needed - plus more! We stayed as two families and this house accommodated us so well. Between us we had 4 adults and 7 children (ranging from 3-13) and we were pleasantly surprised at how functional the house was for this amount of guests. Everyone spent the most amount of time on the lakeside, using the jetty and the kayaks. We all were commenting how great it was that we didn’t have to pack all the kids up in order to go do things…it was all right there! It even rained quite a bit while we were there, but the house also was so well equiped with a pool table, games and DVD player, that this wasn’t an issue either. Host was great to communicate with and answered any questions I had before or after our stay. Would highly recommend this house for anyone wanting to soak up an amazing view whilst also wanting to stay somewhere that will keep kids of all ages entertained. It’s all right there! We will definitely be going back!
