"We traveled from out of town for my grandmother‘s funeral. It was the perfect oasis we needed during our difficult time. The host was amazing with communication and making sure we had everything we needed during our stay.The house and backyard were more than we expected.. highly recommend! Will definitely book again."

"Ideal - spectacular were descriptions I received when I asked family what review to give. We recently stayed at Carter House four days mid-September for a family reunion. Eight adults stayed at the house and 10 local family members visited. Large play area in basement was perfect for the children. Plenty of room and comfortable furniture in spacious great room for adults. Decor added to comfortable atmosphere. We had good weather so first floor deck with outdoor couches and table were used...

"We had a wonderful and relaxing weekend at this cottage. There was plenty of space for several adults who stayed with us for the weekend. Plentiful bedding towels and all the comforts of home. "Great, quiet location. Cabin was very unique with history. We had a nice stay, toured the property with a guide. We enjoyed a great dinner at Itavie and a wonderful breakfast at the Biscuit Batch, both in Spotsylvania"

"Many excellent features at this home including: cleanliness, lots of towels, shampoo provided, plenty of room to spread out, 3 nice bathrooms, plenty of hot water for all & decent water pressure, quiet location with woods in back, lots of beds, comfortable washer & dryer, lamps, extra blankets & pillows, self check in worked seamlessly & no key to have to keep track of, plenty of parking, kitchen well stocked.10 people coming & going & it worked out very well. Only about 15 minutes from Quantico...

"Booking this house was easy and the response was great. Checking in was very easy as all information needed was sent the day before I was to arrive. The house was exactly like the pictures. This is the first house I stayed at that was well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms with things I usually have to go to the store and buy. The house was very spacious. My family and I really enjoyed being there. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to stay and the price...
