"The pictures do not do justice to this great apartment! It is fresh, modern and well appointed. Our host went out of his way to welcome us and was easy to communicate with. We were two couples traveling together and the apartment worked out well for us. The panoramic views over the old town and then the mountains beyond are breathtaking! The location is excellent for a visit to Sulmona, minutes away from sights, shops and restaurants. "

"We have family about 30 min away. The location was perfect. We did get a little lost finding the villa but the host Valerie helped us all the way. Valerie was amazing she couldn’t do any more for us. I would recommend not arriving in the dark unless you know the area. The views are amazing you could never get bored! You will need a car to get around the roads are so quiet and so smooth to drive on (we have lots of pi holes were we live). Great if you love cycling like my partner he rented a bike...

"Lovely little mezzanine apartment. Rob and Lynda were very welcoming and the apartment was cosy. The pool was beautiful and shared with the other two apartments and our hosts, but no one was ever there at the same time. Stunning views from the patio area. It is a 10 minute drive to the local village, Casoli, which I a lovely little town, so you can’t just walk to a local bar or restaurant, but you do have all the facilities to cook in the apartment if you so wish. 100% would stay agin!"

"Pete and jools are honestly two of the nicest people we have ever met. Nothing was too much for them and they always went the extra mile. We stayed here for 1 week for our wedding in Pennapiedimonte - we arrived to a care package of items for dinner that night due to the time we arrived. They also placed items in the fridge so we were able to have a cold drink / tea ect. On arrival they showed us around, gave us all the information needed for the stay and were so lovely to us from the beginning....

"We had a wonderful stay. Dr Carlucci’s property is fantastic. Built by his grandfather and lovingly restored recently, Villa Carlucci met all of the needs of our American family while we visited our Abruzzese family. The many bedrooms and baths accommodated our children and grandchildren perfectly. The pool and grounds were an added bonus. Il paese è molto piccolo e mancano alcuni servizi utili come il bancomat, ma comunque nei paesi vicini si trova tutto. Se dovessimo tornare in Abruzzo torneremo sicuramente ad Ofena."
