"This is an ideal spot for relaxation and peace. It’s off the beaten path, and we saw nor heard a soul while enjoying the lovely yard and it’s view of the river. The cabin is darling, was extremely clean and well equipped. Our host was terrific - quick to respond and interested in helping make our stay enjoyable. I expect we will return!"

"It had been 2 years since we stayed last. The bed was very comfortable and we liked the new flooring. It still needs some upgrades, but overall, we look forward for another stay later. The hot tub needed cleaning and the epoxy coating under the water level was wearing down, causing some abrasions on your skin."

"The cabin is as described and pictured. Host made it easy to find with detailed instructions. It’s very secluded & quiet with little to no traffic. We saw various wildlife to include birds, squirrels, and deer. There are chairs provided to sit on the front deck. Bed is very comfortable. Shower has good pressure and hot water. "

"A group of 8 of us stayed at Pointer House for a week to attend a dog show. It was a comfortable, clean house in a beautiful, quiet location not too far away from the show facility. "This is definitely not your conventional vacation place to stay - a working farm, log cabin portions, modern kitchen appliances hidden in plain sight behind old farmhouse cabinets, eclectic decor that you can spend hours browsing and looking at so many unique items.
